I’m curious about this because I’ve noticed some effects myself where when it’s time to up my dose I start to get cravings and food noise back more and I’m just wondering if that’s normal that that starts to happen and maybe it’s just not as bad as before, or if you aren’t supposed to feel that way. I’m on 8mg of triz currently

Reta 2mg twice per week for 4mg total has been working great for me.

I have noticed that I can eat a bit more right before my dose, so I dose Sunday night and Wednesday night, so I can eat normally on the weekends when I am more closely observed.

I ran an entire 100mg kit like this last year and it worked great.

Doesn't matter if it's 10mg or 15mg (tirz) it doesn't seem like I can last a week.
I always have 4.5mg overfill so I pin that on Thurs or Fri.
So I can't figure out how some split (half) dose? Seems like you'd be wasting juice. I.E. underdosing would be a sure way to waste juice. Maybe I'm missing something?

This is very interesting reading all the responses because I think I must be an outlier. I've been taking reta 1 mg every 7 days for the past 4 weeks, and only in week #1, there were some slight cravings, but only for an hour or two for like the first 3 days after pinning for the first time. And after that week, I haven't felt hunger, so my food noise never came back, and I haven't gotten any cravings and haven't felt hunger for three weeks straight now, and I've kept it at a 1 mg dosage weekly. So I think everyone is just different.

I’ve been taking Reta for 3 months, on 2mg, only within the last 2 weeks food is starting to come back. I pin on a Saturday, and by Thursday food noise starts creeping in

Not an issue for me. I dose once weekly, some days I'm hungrier that others, but that hasn't affected the scale. If I feel like having some kind of dessert, I'll go ahead and have it, and be satiated after that.

Retatrutide has an elimination half-life of approximately 6 to 8 days.
This means it continues to add up in your system over time even with weekly doses, adding up even faster with every 3.5 days.

Take a look at plotter to compare 2 mg week vs 1 mg 3.5 days and you can see that the peaks and valleys grow quickly.

I went by the scale not the calendar or feels, if I kept losing I stayed at same dose.
It was my thought that it was ok to feel some hunger and I tried to find good choices to eat when i did. Soup was one of my best options, nothing like a huge bowl of hot food to make you feel like you ate something and lots of ways to make it low calorie and high protein.

check out the plotter and compare for yourself-

Ya of course!

Talking from my own experience, I think this is because we are taking too low dosage. For instance, when I was taking less than 3 mg, I was feeling the hunger creep up already 1-2 days before injection day. On injection day and a day later, I would eat at maintenance because it was so hard to be on deficit!

But on 3mg, this has dampened a lot! Now I don’t feel the hunger creep up already 1-2 days before. I feel the hunger creep on the injection day though.

Now I’m at 4mg, and I think this or 6mg will be the sweet spot for me where I won’t feel hunger even in injection day.

But you said your tirz is at 8mg?? That’s crazy that you still get hunger creeping up… how long have you been on tirz? Maybe your tirz is “weak” as in it isn’t actually as strong as the vendor states?

I started really low, 0.5mg once a week. Increased to 1mg after 3 weeks and then 1mg increase every 4 weeks until I hit 4mg. By the time I was on 2mg, I noticed I was starting to get bad cravings on days 6 so I started pinning every 6 days. That seems to be working ok for me for now. I've titrated up to 5mg and feel like I'm doing pretty good there.

I'm on 10mg Tirz. I try and stretch it 2 weeks. Lately, food noise has been kicking in at the end of week one. I've been doing the 10's for years. I wonder what's going on? Maybe I'll try the Reta next time I order.

Yes, by afternoon of day 5 (taking Reta) the noise is returning. I've switched to dosing every 4 days - problem solved.

I do not believe there is good evidence that tolerance to the the appetite suppressing or weight loss effects of GLP drugs exist, but with ongoing use and especially weight loss, hunger will increase, so the existing dose is having to fight against increased hunger secondary to weight loss, which could cause exactly that experience. Would need to know amount of weight loss between dose increases or feeling of reduced efficacy.

I run my Tirz every 6 days and has eliminated that completely but I'm only on 7.5 . My 1st step up I felt like it wasn't working as well though and went up to where I am now. I do sometimes wait the full 7 just so I can feel that hungry feeling again. Kinda like a reset.
I been reading up on doing my current dose with a micro of Reta but probably won't do it lol . Every time I think it might not be working it reminds me shortly after.

So long story short after I knew 5 wasn't cutting it even as good as the introductory dose I went up due to food noise ,cravings etc. Back on track but I do shorten the week to 6 days. Maybe bump up one mg if you're controlling your own doses. That's if you gave your current dose enough time to build up.

Hi! I read your responses whenever I see. You have good knowledge and take it always serious, which I respect. Top!

I have an other theorie about hunger noise which has worked for me and would like to hear your meaning about it.

I am 58 years old 1.80m tall, SW: 223 LW:53 GW: 170. In 8 months, I have reached my GW. Started with 2.5mg MJ. Titrated to 5mg after a month and stayed at 5mg. 3 weeks ago started my maintenance dose at 3.3 mg and yesterday reduced it to 2mg. Did not have real hunger noise through my whole journey. But I was always carefull with my appetite. Have always eaten enough proteins, fibres, salades en sometimes fruits. The craving for sugar was disappeared on its own, which was the most important element in my success. Avoided carbohydrates and fat as far as possible. I think hunger noise comes back, if you are malnourished. I also think that, titrating to a higher dosage with a lower weight is only necessary if your body can not get what it needs. It sounds like betraying myself to me. There are times that I also think about food. But they are just calls from my subconcious.

This is my experience and can be different for each person. I have started my journey with that logic and it has worked for me. What is your opinion about it? I am not trying to start a debate. Just want to know the meaning of somebody else with knowledge than believing in my own theories.

On Tirz I've been doing the standard start at 2.5 and increase by 2.5 every 4 weeks. At 7.5 I wanted to try staying on a bit longer than 4 weeks since weight loss had been steady. It's still steady but now I'm for sure noticing hunger popping up noticeably around day 4/5. I've been using it as an exercise to properly handle calorie tracking and intake despite the food noise. This week I'll likely jump up to 10mg but I see the returning food noise as an opportunity to get ready for a post GLP1 transition.

If the noise starts to get a little louder, that's usually when I know to start increasing--but I literally go a unit or 2 up at a time.

What you are doing obviously works, so it is the right approach for you. Losing 53 lbs on a pretty low dose is a much better than average response, and it sounds like you are maintaining it on an even lower dose. I do think food choices matter in terms of controlling hunger, and the diet you describe is pretty similar to the diet I worked out works for me, and is pretty close to an ideal diet in terms of what nutritionists recommend, mainly plant based whole foods with extra protein, low fat and lowish carb.

More interesting I feel are "better responders" even glean this property when they go to maintenance mode. I know two people, one a MD, that went to goal weight on less than 10mg. Tirz. Then quit pinning entirely. Stating,"if I need it I'll take it." They don't. Meanwhile, the sasquatch feels like he could take 50mg for no progress at all. I'm going to 72 weeks. (End of aug.) Whatever I weigh, at that time, that's it.

Thanks for your response. During first 20 weeks doctor has been checking my blood every 4 weeks and especially looking at pancreas values. It did not ever suffer from tirz and was responding great. But then my muscles were beginning to get softer. She had nothing more to say advice than training. I have started ipa on my own. Felt difference after first week and added CJC1295 No Dac after a month. I got some honger feeling after that but I could ignore it. At the moment pinning ipa+cjc at 05:00 AM and don't eat anything at all untill 11:00 to 12:00 AM. Get some cravings around 09:00. Laughing at that and telling the stack that I won't feed it. After an hour it is getting quiet. I know that it attacks my last belly fat. At about 12:00 PM, I say that it is time to eat. Then I hear it saying; Fuck you! I have already eaten. After eating a small portion it stops completely.
