Dosing for Mot-c, Where to start?

Hey hey!

i'm interested in taking on Mot-c, now I am relatively new to peptides so I'm doing research before I make any comments.

My main question is why is there such a huge variance in starting Doses for Mot-c?

Im reading 200mcg 2/3 times a week to some people taking 2mg before a workout

Every other peptides I've read up on has more consistent numbers

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Do more research rather than asking folks you don't know about things you're planning to inject into yourself.
We don't know anything about you and have no place suggesting dosages for you to waste based on a crappy notion. We don't know if you're fit, fat, metabolically half dead, etc.

So, I'll going to restructure your reply to get my answer

Body composition and current metabolic state/health are critical factors in determining a starting dosage; Most likely, that is why I am finding such fluctuations in my searches. Best to to do research on how those factors impact dosing of this peptide to find out what an ideal dose may be for me.

After doing my own research, I've read many conflicting time frames: morning, nighttime, or pre-workout. My go to online resource for my peptides suggested morning, so I tried it for a couple of week at 3x/wk, but I didn't really get that energy burst that ppl talked about. I decided to try it at night about an hour b4 bed and it gave me the best sleep ever, so I'm sticking to my new bedtime routine 😁

The "energy" isn't a Rsd Bull kind of boost, it is more of a slow burn Energizer Bunny thing. The word "jaunty" is what the wife and I use to describe it. You can just keep going, but don't have to. It's not me*h... 😎

As others have said, it really does depend on where you are at with your current health and metabolic state. It also may depend on your age. If you are a bit older and have been under a lot of stress, you may want to start on SS-31 to repair your cells before taking a peptide that copies and multiplies your mitochondria.

As far as dosing goes, I’ve had pretty good success on taking 3mg, every other day (3 times a week) in the morning. Some people react to it better on higher/lower dosages, it rly does just depend on your current health state and I’d say how actively you are going to the gym.

There’s a pretty good vid on yt by Dr. Alex Tatem about Mots C that I’d recommend a watch.
 
I just started my first run with mots. I'm a 48yr old male, just getting into the gym for the first time really in my life within the past 6 months or so. After researching all over the place I decided on 1mg daily on a 5/2 cycle in the mornings. I typically lift M-F so I will pin those days. If this goes well I may move up 1mg/day in a couple weeks.

I'm doing 960 mcg daily before my morning workout and it gives me good energy during the workout and after the workout and throughout the day. But what you gotta do is try it for yourself. Because it depends on your body composition and how well structured your mitochondria are or how in shape or out of shape you are. So don't just copy someone's protocol and hope for the best.
 
It effects people differently. Always start low, especially with Mots-c because ome people have reported allergic reactions and ISRs are common. I pinned 3 times a week, starting at 1 mg and moving to 5 mg. For pre-workout, even 1 mg is going to provide additional energy and better performance, but your response may be different. I followed the full 14-week protocol, with NR, SS-31 and then Mots-c and I will keep Mots-c in the freezer.

Agreed and I got nothing, definitely not "jaunty" or even an energizer bunny kinda thing, but it did help with getting a good night's rest which helped me with my energy level the next day... so I guess it's still a win 🙌🏼

My original thought was to probably start at 500mcg then move to 1mg every other day

After learning I should read up on body composition and overall health being important, ill hold off on what I was planning and learn
