Good evening everyone, you may know me from this thread: Down 40lbs in 2 months
https://glp1forum.com/threads/down-40lbs-in-2-months.7074/

I’m just posting an update. I am officially down 30 more lbs. I am 10lbs from my initial goal weight (240) but judging by the mirror I’d like to lose more. Possibly 220 or even less.

My arms have gotten much leaner as I used to lift quite a bit. I would post the images here but I don’t have a before of my bicep. I will post my Renpho scale results here though as well.

Weight loss plateaued for me right round 60lbs lost and I just got out of it. During the plateau I was on 6mg. Now I’m on week 3 of 8mg and I feel much better and down 11 more lbs. 249 this morning.

That is fantastic. 70 lbs is a medium sized child you lost. I imagine quality of life I'm assuming has changed drastically. My only question and please don't take this to be a negative one, but do you worry about shedding the weight so fast? I know everyone is different but I just like to ask and gather information from various people during various weight loss stages. Congrats again.

I love hearing of people's successes stories, helps keep the motivation up. Congrats!

If I may ask, how is your skin reacting to the quick weight loss? I ask because I am noticing some "loose" skin myself and wondering if it will it tighten up again with more weight loss.

I'm going to be brutally honest here - judging by your prior post, you are doing this wrong. "2 rolls at Texas Roadhouse, 2 sweet teas...". Cut out the garbage. Retatrutide is a tool to help fix your habits. It isn't a silver bullet. You will rebound hard if you stop Retatrutide and you don't clean up your diet and focus on healthy macros.

If I were in your shoes, I would slow it down...significantly - I can't imagine not having loose skin issue at that rate. Eat protein and lift heavy. Stop eating the junk. Congrats on the progress - be careful!

Not just the skin issues, but i lost 40 in two months, and in the second month messed up my gallbladder. Have had to cut out all fats or else I am in agony so not even a yogurt or a cup of milk. Just had a Hida scan yesterday to see exactly whats going on with the GB but never had a problem till i dropped a bunch of weight really quickly. I gotta admit though, i drank and ate a LOT of dairy, and dairy free now and feeling good about it. Thought id miss it.

Just met a girl yesterday who's bilirubin is off the charts. She lost 30 lbs in like 45 days. Way too fast, not sustainable and downright dangerous.

I love hearing the whole “you’re doing this wrong” spill from people after my insane progress. I also love how you assume I just ate fat fuck meals since I started Reta based off of one meal.

Anywho, I was under 1000 calories for about 3 months and I’m about to post another update.

I have been off Reta for 4-5 weeks now and have only rebounded a healthy 5lbs. I purposefully tried to intake more to restart my metabolism however it has been very hard to eat how I used to, which is a good thing.

It certainly is a silver bullet. And my lifestyle has changed on its own since Reta.

But I do appreciate your kind words at the end. I will let the results speak for itself as I have also been monitored by my doctor.

Hmmmmm🤔🤔🤔. You fail to mention here, your most recent post where you talked about passing out, hypoglycemia episodes, etc..
"hardly eating for about 4 months, my metabolism was struggling. I also started to have fainting spells which I thought was from my blood pressure being low but it was actually my blood sugar. While I was on Reta, I cancelled my membership purely because I just didn’t have the energy from lack of nutrition. My workouts felt very half assed regardless of the caffeine intake that was enough to kill a horse."

This is exactly what people were concerned about.

Okay I lost 70lbs and now I’m fixing it then going to lose the last 40. If I’m not dead, my doctor is monitoring me, I will continue losing my weight and going down that path.

Why run 1 mile, when you can run 2?
Why eat 1800 calories, when you can eat 1600?
Why eat that burger when you can eat a salad?

Hand in hand. To each their own. You can always do better.
