I got a mail from the Belgian Postal Service with the info that it starts as planned on the first of July.
Next time I order I'm going to ask my vendor that he prepays because if not, It's going to be held by customs until payment and I'm betting there are going to be massive delays... they're bureaucrats, after all.

I've already paid custom charge for the shipment from UK. And as I was getting shipments before from the same fella in a 2 days, I'm waiting a week now and still not delivered.

I fear it's going to be bad, really bad for an couple of weeks, at least in Belgium but probably all over the EU.

I'm actually counting on our vendors to mitigate the possible hold-up. The less hassle and delayed/seized packages, the better it is for their business.

Hopefully the vendors have something planned ahead for this. All orders outside the European union that are under 150euro will be charged 3euro per item, if they are opened for inspection we're cooked, parasites!

Here in Croatia, they open every single package outside EU for customs. Yes, even like the 3 euro ones. I hate it.

I got 3 x Reta 60mg delivered to the EU this month just in case this caused issues - I'll be alright for a few years now 🙂

Would say they may charge for kit, not vial if any....if I order a box o matches are they gonna charge for every single match, or for the box??? But on the other hand in this house of the comunist clowns called EU, every bollocks is possible, so who knows...

It should be €3 per different item if I interpreted the new rules correctly so 3 identical kits is €3, 3 different €9.
I guess that they are just going to slap €3 per package and call it a day... a million a day. Easy cash without any extra effort.

tbh the extra fee isn't even an issue it's the fact that they will "control better" that scares me

The problem is that Temu who is probably the biggest Chinese goods seller in EU, opened european warehouses to avoid the custom hassle. That mean the amount of deliveries from China will drop significantly since now. That may affect us, as customs will have less parcels to check out.

I made a large enough order on Friday too so i hope they'll slip through with no issues, i asked the vendor to declare the package over 150euro so it might go through customs quicker, two weeks of stress ahead 😢

I believe the new charges are only for items valued under 150euro, maybe I read wrong actually i need to check again

You only assume it friend. If it was true, you couldn't even receive your package after 6 months. How many customs officers work in Croatie to open and check millions of packages daily?

Then you have to pay minimum %15 import tax + %? VAT. With a good customs decleration and paying that sum, you will sure receive it faster than others.

I've ordered Modafinil 2 years ago and Sema a year ago from China and both got seized.
Also, whatever I order from China, no matter how small it is, I get a VAT bill, even for small stuff that's like 3 or 10 euros. Even for different names and addresses...

Maybe I was just extremely unlucky then?

Correct. Because import tax+VAT has to be paid for items valued higher than €150 which is much more than €3.

I'm about to place an order,.and see how it goes. If it makes all the process harder, and problematic to sort out, will have to consider only EU warehouse vendors as a suppliers.

I don't think it will have any impact on us. I have placed an order of $680 today and did not pay any shipping or customs charges. Ordered also Eloralintide and it was pre order. So in each case, I won't receive them before july. But I also don't have any worries about that. They are asking $50 shipping for small orders which doesn't cost more than $10 for regular sendings. Then customs charges must also be included for such a sum. If I trust my vendor for $700, she also must be worth of it, right?
