FDA found hair in Novo Nordisk samples

“We take all observations seriously and have initiated a thorough review of our processes and procedures,” said a spokesperson for Novo Nordisk when reached for comment. “However, visual analysis by NN quality assurance personnel has determined that the supposed ‘hairs’ are actually bits of the rubber vial stopper and the vials are safe to use,” the spokesperson added.

The spokesperson went on to say that no refunds would be possible, as the FDA failed to use Janoshik for its testing.

I love how they always bash the grey market and compounding pharmacies for being unsafe, and then they are found to have hair in their product. I actually think this will be used as a counter example in court some day in the lawsuits against the compounding pharmacies.
