The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today established a “green list” import alert to help stop potentially dangerous GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) from unverified foreign sources from entering the U.S. market. To protect patients who use these compounded drugs, the green list will include GLP-1 APIs from facilities the agency has inspected or evaluated that appear to be in compliance with the FDA’s rigorous standards – standards applicable to all APIs manufactured in the U.S. APIs from other sources are subject to detention without physical examination.

It's something new every damn week. No one's worried about fentanyl. They get paid to make sure pharma doesn't lose billions. They want all of it not 90%.... every single penny and its disgusting.

I should probably buy some more tirz, this makes me anxious
3 days ago it was how every de minimus package will be screened, how every single package will be inspected by end of year and how ai will do it 10x more efficiently by March of next year.... I ordered 3 more kits. Today was 70% of bac water on Amazon fails testing so I ordered another years worth. Shit never ends.

My take on it is that they won't stop the flow. Even at the vastly reduced prices compared to retail there is still a whole lot of money being made. On the flip side all the investing in trying to stop our path won't increase the pharma market share. I mean how many of us could afford it? Seriously. Me for example .. I'm doing pretty well for myself but there is no way I would be able to swing $500 a month for sema or whatever reta will end up costing for the long term. I can just forget about being able to take both the way I am now.

oh-oh

I imagine the FDA as a fat Italian with a pinky ring walking into a Chinese factory like it’s a NYC corner store “ehh, you wouldn’t want anything to disrupt your shipments now would you? If you pay us for GMP certification and the fees to obtain GRAS notification status, maybe we can offer you some insurance that your business will keep running smoothly”.
