Caveat: Registered =/= Approved
This is super interesting! Did you forward this link to Krysia? She may be able to use it in her investigations.

What about compounders? Do they buy raw API. I'm talking about compounders that follow the rules regarding compounding, such as compounding only in a sterile environment and with an appropriate authorization from their state to do so?

My understanding is that none of the places that are official approved to produced tirzepatide API will sell to normal folks.
You may be wrong. There is a Discord server and she is a nurse claiming to buy from them. I sent it to YoYo last night...

Nice, thank you.

Retatrutide isn't FDA approved. So there's not going to be anyone authorized to produce it.
Isn't Eli Lilly (or someone used by them) authorized to produce retatrutide? I suspect Eli Lilly isn't breaking the law by conducting its phase 3 trials using reta. Is Eli Lilly buying its reta from Tracy? Is Eli Lilly send its reta vials from Tracy to Jano for testing? I wonder if Tracy yells at Eli Lilly.

Yes, they do.

You can call RedRock and get their COA for the raw APIs they purchase from a Chinese manufacturer. I’ve seen it floating around, I think the Seventy-person on TirzHelp has it.

Incorrect.

First, this isn’t a list of approved manufacturers, or authorized manufacturers. It’s a list of those registered with the FDA, who are certified as manufacturers.

Second, the drug has to be manufactured in order to make it through trials.

You’re conflating and confusing processes.

Is there one for reta?
Yes.

Where does Tracy shop? Is it that other Qingdao place up there??

There's a groupbuy right now for these fda API kits. Yoyo leeching and not giving credit as usual. I bought a few kits myself.

How am I “leeching”? What credit is there to give? Give credit for a publicly available document that’s been online for years? Get over yourself. Just go away.

So is tirz from one of these listed companies of better quality?
I don't understand how it COULD be better. We get our Tirz tested for fill and purity. Can you get much better purity than 99.5x%? It's not like they are changing the recipe to offer "better" Tirz. I view it as more digital than analog, it is either Tirz, or it isn't.

I swear I saw EL test results for a branded MJ/Zep pen but can't seem to find them now. If I remember correctly it was around the same as gray Tirz and even though the pens come with a 18-24mo BUD the results I saw showed that the pens do degrade significantly during that time period.

From what I have gathered to understand in the conversations that I have had with the different manufacturers are the following points,

Raws come in two grades “pharmaceutical grade” and “cosmetic grade”. Also the prices vary accordingly.

This is the actual grade of the raw powder produced. I have no evidence if this is true or not so please dont shoot me down for this.

This one supplier I talked with gave me the price of both grades of raw reta. $650usd for one gram of cosmetic grade raw reta and for the higher pharmaceutical grade the cost will be $850usd per gram.

What this manufacturer told me is that most vendors use the cheaper cosmetic grade raws.

I personally have not tried TCI’s tirz but from what I have read from many forum users is that the tirz from TCI is one of the best out there.

Right now I have a 30mg vial from Ronsen Group tirz. It is crap compared to my original Mounjaro pen. Even though purity was high like 99.21% it just did not feel as good as mounjaro.

What do you guys think about this? Do you think it is true or just conjecture?

I’m afraid you might not fully appreciate what the purity figure means, there could be dramatic differences. The “purity” is only about the purity of the peptide itself and says nothing about the purity of the contents of the vial as a whole, which contains things other than the peptide. It’s honestly not all that useful a measure, more of a stand-in for “this manufacturer seems to know what they were doing.”

This means that our friendly neighborhood underground labs could be leaving all kinds of crap behind in their manufacturing processes that isn’t showing up in those Jano tests. Presumably the more legit places that are inspected from time to time are less likely to do so.

Sure, but the peptide itself should either be it or not. We're likely on the acetate salt versions, but unless we think the buffer in the name brand stuff is significantly different and somehow has an impact on the efficacy vs. ours, it should only be down to the differences from the acetate salt (which I don't believe we have any real science on)

Not that that stops there from being fentanyl or whatever in there along with the peptide and mannitol, of course.

I have heard similar from the middle men….. I really think it was to justify a higher price .…what would be the difference between the two? Maybe the lower grade failed purity testing or was a failed production run? Or maybe it is older…… I could never get a straight answer from the reseller.

I agree, we don't know what is in 90%+ of the vial and the "filler" could impact how effective the Tirz works. As long as you don't have a adverse reaction to it (like the AMO sting) what we ARE testing matters the most, If you have a good fill an high purity its going to work for most people. I occasionally pin branded Tirz and can't tell the difference. EL's purity standard is actually lower than what we are getting on the gray market. The main difference as far as I can tell is that EL uses a buffer and that gives them longterm storage stability that we don't get once we reconstitute.

Very interesting, did they also said what was the difference between the two grades?
