I got the supplies and filtered my tirzepatide tonight. Where do y’all get the extra luer lock needles? I don’t want to have to waste the syringe/needle combo I have.

The brand I have is the combined excel syringe with the 3ml luer lock tip w/25g x 1 needles.

I’ve been pinning without filtering, but will start soon since my filter kit I ordered last month from peptide-test has finally arrived (by horseback I’m assuming lol).

But out of curiosity, what are folks preferred filter size for TIRZ/RETA? And preferred 25g needle length?

I got a mix of different sizes of each for safety.

I like 4mm for reta. It’s a little slower than 13mm but almost no holdback.

13mm is fine too if you don’t mind losing a couple mg or doing the extra work of flushing the filter.

These guys are great, sometimes I bitch about exactly what is available at a given time, but they ship stupidly fast(24 hours for me in SE USA) and they do not restrict shipping to specific addresses the way Amazon does now.

Each time I filter, I end up using:

3 x 31G, 5/8”
1 x 25G, 1.5”

I have one additional (admittedly silly) question:

• Let’s say I have 2 x 20mg Tirz
• I reconstitute both with 2ml BAC
• and I filter both vials into 1 new sterile vial

That new sterile vial would contain about 40mg of Tirz + 4ml of BAC water, right? (give or take some loss through filtering)

So I would dose based on this?

Side note: If this is the case, I usually like adding 2ml BAC max. To achieve this, I would just add 1ml BAC to each vial before filtering, right?

Math makes my brain go numb. So any help verifying this is right would be appreciated! Lol
