I’m sorry to hear that. I honestly want to understand why they exist? And are they city specific. I don’t need many peps, but I see many doing it.

I joined a website/community that organizes group buys. I pay $10 a month and can order with a credit card in their weekly group buy. It’s worth it for me to not have to mess with crypto, deal with customs, or navigate testing because they test every 100 vials. It’s the easiest option for me, but a lot of people do fine on discord and other sites.

That sounds great to me. I hate all those things too. But that’s 90% of the fun wondering if you ever going to receive your peps from China or your going to get put on a customs watch list. And Crypto. The best. Not. Thanks for sharing.

So it’s like fight club. I love rules.

Seriously though. I like GBs because if you are trying to build a stockpile, you can get several kits at once at a really great price. A GB Vendor does all the negotiations with the vendor to get kits at a lower rate due to the quantity of kits being ordered for the group. A lot of times, the price you pay will include testing that is paid for the GB Vendor. If testing isn't being provided by the GB Vendor, there are usually enough people to form a test group. Even if basic M/P/I is being paid for already, a lot of people will still form a test group to test for other things like sterility or endotoxins.

Only caveat to all of that is that, you must have patience. The whole process can sometimes take up to 12 weeks. The normal turnaround time is 6-8 weeks.

Rule #1 with GBs, you must have patience.
Spot on.

It can take 3 months, but usually faster. Pay up front and wait normally 6-12 weeks. I do have one that was about 5 weeks that'll be here Monday. 3 R30 kits for $110 each.

It’s great knowing these exist. How do you find one to join. And how do you know your joining great one. I’m assuming from people you meet online and trust. I love the testing concept most. That is money.

Ah young Skywalker, you're day will come.

My couple of cents.
  1. A group buy has a higher probability that the vials have come from the same production run (batch). That way, tests done on randomly picked vials can be representative of the rest of the vials. So the tests even mean something. Most people doing their own testing (even in group tests) have no idea if it even applies to the rest of their vials. The supply chain could be mixing up the batches any which way.
  2. Some testing is usually a part of the deal. And some GBs can even offer more tests on top of the basic ones. Makes things a bit more streamlined.
  3. It makes sense to test samples in larger batches. Otherwise, a lot of testing can be redundant - testing for the same batch over and over again.
  4. There is a bit of a pricing incentive in GBs.
@ZippityDooDah is not a fan of GBs. And he has good reasons. Many times it is just funding someone else's business. To me, it seems like, a well run GB can add certain efficiencies. I don't resent the GBOs for what they take off the top. It is a lot of work.

I’m in a good group. Don’t GB but we help each other and we get solid pricing. No complaints. And I have a great stash. I’m absolutely loving Reta. But got my eye on Cagri and Lora. I just need new toys. And often.

I would request some of the more experienced peppers to not gate keep, and please drop names of some good GBs that they know of 😛. If it is allowed.

Your two cents are always worth 3 cents to me. Your posts are always great to read. And I appreciate everyone’s feed back and help. This forum is so great.

I honestly do call them organizers. All my main place have good one, and they're all girls.
Ever time I typed GB"O" it turned it to GB Vendor. I even tried using the orga-nizer word by itself and it still turned it to vendor. Another one of those little nuggets, for me at least. lol

The GB vendor orders the testing, what tests and what lab. They have nothing to gain from lying These are all made to order for the GB. The suppliers are all top tier suppliers like Lobster, Changsha and BioChem. Obviously more. Never a supply chain mix ups as you say. I have heard of places that stuff that doesn't past tests, but I've never had to deal with that myself.
All the GB these days, do regular testing and Endo. As I said, the vendor takes care of that.
I'll just throw #3 out.
A bit of price incentive? I've saved thousands. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Honest question, how many GB have you bought from?

They do like to gate keep don’t they. I guess only the cool kids do it. I’m certain there’s a ton of resellers doing these. So I get it. I’m a personal
Modest user myself.

We basically follow their rules. I've used group names in here, and even a price now and then. I'm sure as hell not going to post GB invites. A bunch of the ones I'm in, turn off new registration, so the GB people can't just join and buy. Especially on a limited product GB.

I get that. I’ve heard they limit and I’m sure they are very intense. You sound like you have nailed the GB dynamics down.

You need to work on your reading comprehension skills a bit. Clearly, you just want to be right all the time. Is there any point in being a condescending jackass all the time?

You need to STF up. I'm giving my personal experience. not something you read on Reddit.
