GLP-1 Apprentice
So part of my regimen is I do 1ml of Lipo-C w/B12 twice a week. I did my usual pin of it yesterday and everything was normal as usual. today I wake up and the site that I injected it at is red, inflamed, and itchy but it isn't sensitive or hot to the touch. This was my 5th pin from the same vial (1st vial from a new kit) and the first one to have a reaction. I rotate pin locations, use fresh alcohol wipes on myself and the vial top before and after the draw from it. No clue why something is happening now. I took an antihistamine this morning just in case but it even stopped itching before I took the antihistamine.
Pretty sure I am gonna be just fine, but wanted to make the post to get people's advice on what to look out for, best practices, etc. I don't know what I don't know. Also for the other newbies on here who have been asking more and more about reusing needles or not rotating injection sites, learn from my issue. I know exactly which pin is causing my issue and which compound its related to because I rotate injection sites and document them. Each injection gets its own fresh clean needle, so I know its not transfer from a previous injection. No guesswork as to which one is causing the problem. Please take the extra time and precautions to protect yourself.
