So part of my regimen is I do 1ml of Lipo-C w/B12 twice a week. I did my usual pin of it yesterday and everything was normal as usual. today I wake up and the site that I injected it at is red, inflamed, and itchy but it isn't sensitive or hot to the touch. This was my 5th pin from the same vial (1st vial from a new kit) and the first one to have a reaction. I rotate pin locations, use fresh alcohol wipes on myself and the vial top before and after the draw from it. No clue why something is happening now. I took an antihistamine this morning just in case but it even stopped itching before I took the antihistamine.

Pretty sure I am gonna be just fine, but wanted to make the post to get people's advice on what to look out for, best practices, etc. I don't know what I don't know. Also for the other newbies on here who have been asking more and more about reusing needles or not rotating injection sites, learn from my issue. I know exactly which pin is causing my issue and which compound its related to because I rotate injection sites and document them. Each injection gets its own fresh clean needle, so I know its not transfer from a previous injection. No guesswork as to which one is causing the problem. Please take the extra time and precautions to protect yourself.

This is why I have my epipen and allergy meds on the counter where I take my pins. Goal is to be healthy and safe not stupid. I applaud your attention to detail.

There was no indication at all of previous minor reactions before?

Nope. Now I will say that every pin of this Lipo-C has stung a tiny tiny bit as its going in, but that's it. No redness, no swelling, no itching, nothing at any of the sites until now.

Super interesting, I wonder if there was something else happening that made your body react in that way despite no react previously. I have had false allergic reactions to shellfish before, but that was due to the sodium levels in my body after exercise causing histamine rushes. Think that may have been a potential cause?

I have no idea if that is possible or not. I have been working out 6 days a week for the last 3 weeks, but haven't had this issue til now. Also, my gf pinned 1ml from the same vial about 5 minutes after I did and she has no issue at all, so I am hopeful that its just an allergic reaction more than something got contaminated.

Are you going to try to pin it again to see if it was a one off reaction?

I am curious if it was something else in your system causing the interaction.

That's the plan. I am going to thoroughly clean and sanitize everything just to rule out variables and pin it in a different spot to see if anything happens again. If it does happen again, I will likely try a different vial for the pin after that to see if it is maybe something going on with the first vial or if my body just is fed up with Lipo-C.

Post back here with the deets after haha

Similar situation, I pinned mots-c the other day and half hour later I had red blotches on both thighs and they were itchy. I took an antihistamine and they were gone in an hour.

Will do. Look for it on Wednesday.
I wonder if you hit a little vein or something? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m done with mots-c. I was getting ISRs every time. Red and a little sore/itchy but my last pin swelled up like a bee sting immediately and then later bruised. That’s enough for me.

I thought that if you hit a vein it would cause a bruise. Didn't think it would cause itching or redness. Dunno. Still learning.

Ugh. I am planning on running the NAD+, SS31, and MOTS-C protocol in a month or two and keep hearing negative experiences with MOTS-C and NAD+. I hope they aren't that bad for me. We will find out.

Update on the original ISR for anyone who cares, this morning it is less red and a little itchy again but nowhere near as bad as yesterday.

My partner runs motsc and nad+. Gets no reaction from motsc and a bit of sting while injecting nad but otherwise fine. He also gets no reaction from ghkcu. The lucky bastard. So everyone is different and you might get nothing.

I had been doing peps for a few months zero issues until I added BPC. As soon as I did, ALL my prior injection sites got itchy! Bum, flanks, & belly felt like I had fallen asleep at an anthole and gotten bit. What in the world?!🙄💀

I run MOTS-C and NAD+, pinned them both this morning and I did get slight painful after effects that went away and our after, though I think this is because I pinned in my love handles rather than my belly. For me it all depends on where I pin for things rather than what I pin. Except for KLOW. KLOW is almost always spicy.

Update: I pinned my usual Lipo-C yesterday in a new location and everything went well. Normal. Except today when I woke up, it was red and itchy just like the previous one. So I am either developing an allergy to it or something has happened to that vial. Sunday I will try a new vial and see if the same thing happens with it. Has anyone else used Lipo-C w/B12? Had any similar reactions? Any special instructions with Lipo-C that I may be unaware of?

Only thing that gives me any reaction is CHK cu and it's a little redness. I'm doing a cycle of SS-31 right now and when I finish that up, I'll start MOTC-c. Also discovered that glute injection is a lot better than belly, now that I am barely flexible enough to reach around there. No need to even pinch, it just goes right in with zero pain.
