Ah I get it, at my low and slow dose I think I can feel the diminishing effect hence the snack attack this evening. I genuinely can’t wait to get up to 2mg and potentially beyond. I am generally so sensitive to medications and side effects could crush me.

I am very hopeful that when I get there I have consistent days like this weekend. Hopefully I can drop the badge some day soon and build up a stockpile to take this long term.

Alright this is now happening to me. Food noise and the must eat now hanger came back yesterday pretty heavily, and is present this morning. I was getting food noise suppression that I can only relate to how people here in the forum talk about tirz on my .5/1mg of reta which is huge for me and my poor relationship with food.

On a very positive note, the faster feeling to full and the alcohol suppression features are still working great.
 
Alright as of last night the effects are completely gone. Weighed myself this morning and zero pounds of weight loss. I'm going to go with 1mg tomorrow/Sat morning. .5mg was a fantastic experiment making sure I wasn't going to have a severe negative reaction, the second .5mg pin made it stick for multiple days.

Any of the experts around here see any issues with doing 1mg Saturday, then another .5mg or 1mg sunday or monday to bring up to 1.5/2mg? I am just very hesitant to send 2mg with my ultra sensitive response on the front end of injections?
 
Stick with one dose for 4 weeks. I just pinned 8mg at 10am. Third one. We’ll likely stay on this for at least 6 weeks.

I pinned .5mg saturday morning 5/23 and another .5mg monday morning 5/25. Spit it like that just in case of any adverse side effects. So effectively Saturday at 1mg would be keeping the same dose wouldn't it? Or am I thinking about it wrong?

In total, (in theory) you should have about 0.565 left in you

Adding another 1.0 tomorrow would be pretty close to what you'd see if you dosed 1mg last Saturday, i'd say negligible difference.

But, as i've read it, initially you're just building up your levels, so I am guessing you may metabolize it faster in the beginning until you get your levels up and more stable.

Alright 1mg pin this morning at 11:45. Only happened this late because I was a bum this morning and slept in until 11am. That really almost never happens anymore, I do think somehow ret improved my sleep. Excited to see how my body responds. I think calculating half life I’ve got around 1.5mg on board now. Thank you nkresho for the validation as well.
 
Within an hour, the light euphoria and hunger suppression have returned! It was tough eating lunch where yesterday that portion size would have been effortless. Stoked to experience this dose level & what lingers already on board from the first shot last saturday&monday.
 
Blah. Reta kills sleep, doesn't help with it. Let the stuff do it's thing. I don't remember hourly changes.

Perhaps it is more that Reta has not really affected my sleep yet. That being said i cant remember the last time i had sleep scores regularly in the 90's, and often high 90's based on my watch tracking. My resting heart rate has also on average not really gone up. It is within the 10bpm average/range of what normal resting variance i have and have been tracking for years.

I will say yesterday, working hard outside in the hot and humid sun, working on loading animals to take to the auction last night (for an auction going on now today), I got to experience high heart rate, potentially afib. I wasnt working my hardest or pushing as hard as i can/have in the past but i was absolutely tapping the top end of my heart rate. Looking at my health data the watch picked up 162bpm, i didnt think to take a manual measurement at the time. Long ago 20+years, I was evaluated / had a cardiac cath lab for an ablation to fix vfib, they didn't burn the nerve during the operation but thats a whole other story. I haven't had heart issues in well over a decade now outside of bruising my heart in a pretty violent car accident, the same one that really pushed my weight up to what it is today.


Just wanted to keep sharing, treating this thread like a journal that lets others chime in on my thoughts and experiences. Reading multiple threads about other peoples experiences gave me the courage to take the leap, perhaps mine can too.
 
Last night I think that I unlocked the secret for me and reta's effect on sleep. I have been taking 25mg of enclomaphine for about a month and a half every other day. I accidentally missed my dose two nights ago (sun night) and sun night had relatively poor sleep scored 76. I took it last night (monday night) before bed and got a sleep score of 99!
 
Poked 1.5mg this morning. Within an hour felt the slight euphoria again, not unpleasant, actually kind of the "after adult activities" clarity kind of euphoria if that makes sense.

Also MUCH better food noise silencing behavior by 130pm didnt even realize i hadnt taken lunch yet and absolutely zero hunger. Did a 60ish gram protein shake with my lunch time supplements.

I will say, this time, i can legit feel the suppression of my nicotine cravings. Chewing for effectively near 25 years I know exactly what those cravings feel like and it has turned that noise down probably 90%.

I also received some additional research materials today with an interesting (to me) sticker on them i will make a new thread on later today after work. Just had a quick break and thought i would keep with the journaling and post my initial reactions to 1.5mg. 🙂

My alcohol intake is down about 50% and my nicotine intake is nearing -50%. My Zynn 3mg tins are lasting longer than before but not quite twice as long yet. Pretty comfortable with my nicotine intake currently, I can forget them when I go out and not have to go back for them or buy them while I’m out. Pretty awesome feature of Reta 😀
 
That 1.5mg dose wore off quick, still had some of the lingering effects like alcohol suppression, and smaller portion satiety, but hunger and food noise was back up where it was at .5mg.

Now today, 6 days after the 1.5mg dose, I poked 2mg. Again, I have the light feeling of euphoria like I have experienced with every one of these shots. I cant say its from the stress of the needle, that fear has left me completely now. I hope to stay at 2mg a few weeks for titration since I am now at a dose that some members say i should have started with given my weight/size.
