Those were just some examples. Could be as granular as mod would want. I was think successful research solutions might be different amongst different types of people. Oh well. Not the first bad idea I’ve had.

I like it. There are some nice protocols being researched for women in peri, meno and post menopause — for those that are supplementing HRT as well as women not taking HRT. I’m over 50, not eligible for HRT, but Tirzep relieved so many meno symptoms for me (joint pain gone the first week for ex) that although I’m at maintenance I will keep taking Tirzep for that reason. Now looking into add on’s to feel good for as long as possible for the next 20 or so years 😅 Many functions decline as we age so discussing those protocols would be great.

Maybe just an HRT section? TBH there isn’t a lot of good discussion about HRT and clinics on other forums. Meso and ASF have some discussion but not very much. I know there are a lot of dudes here on TRT including myself

Why not eligible for HRT? my wife is 52 and they just gave her HRT without even questioning it.

Do you or anyone here have advice about locating and vetting a peptide-friendly GP/ GYN/ ENDO for starting to test and balance hormones? For cash pay only? I’m not needing them to prescribe peps, but have an open mindedness about self-guided healing.

For example, many female peptode “experts” mention the standard hormone panels/ levels are quite different than the OPTIMAL. How do we access this info and ensure we are not paying $$$ to meet with dozens of doctors till we find a local one who is knowledgeable and flexible?

Bonus question: if we do comprehensive test panels on our own (not ordered by Dr./ independent lab), is there ALSO a gray market for sourcing our own testosterone and estrogen?

A lot of the peptide vendors also carry hormones and common medication, but managing your own hormones is substantially more complex than most peptides. You need to learn about different steroids and how to read lab results (and which labs to order). Bodybuilding forums are a good source of that information but they aren't known for being the most polite company. MesoRX is one of the most popular.

I was actually just looking at the price list of a vendor who sells common fertility drugs and progesterone, so it's definitely a thing in this space.

I have a menopause specialist I have been seeing for 3 years. I drive 90 minutes each way to see her twice a year. GA reclassed testosterone so now I have to do F2F every 6 months where I used to do telemed. She is a NP at a women's health clinic. If you want to DM me I will try and help you find someone in your area. Many use Defy Medical telemed service. I think they may charge an upfront fee and monthly? I am really not sure. There is a great FB group as well if you are on there... Let me know if I can help.

I use defy for male HRT. Upfront cost was around 500 for labs and appointment. Drugs are through compounding pharmacies, relatively inexpensive compared to tirz but expensive compared to UGL test. There is no monthly fee. One weird thing was they required a physical and if you go to a place and say you’re getting a physical for HRT they will often tell you to leave. There is so much fear and ignorance from medical professionals around this.

Also worth noting the testosterone concentrations sold UGL are often not very compatible with female TRT dosages. It’s hard to accurately dose 10 mg from 250 mg/ml. Here is a guide for diluting

I'd try defy medical. Excellent assortment of options

Thank goodness I have almost two full years before I join the senior center 😀 But seriously, the average 60 year old who goes to Costco once a week gets more exercise than many teens.
That's hilarious!!! Hahahah
I think us over 50 make the best research subjects for non glps because if something is going to "work " or have any feels, we are probably going to feel it before a 20 year old where the aging and natural degrading is just beginning. But I'm a big believer in preventative medicine so if I'd known about SS31 for example in my 20's as a gym lifting rat, I would have taken it to slow down the aging process ! Alas -- now is good a time as any !!

Look up Fitomics or Mark Diagnostics

By the way....Most ads for hormone replacement therapy are for men. I assume that is because, in the current healthcare system, it's generally less difficult for women to get hormone replacement therapy, such as from their gyno. Many endocrinologists still think testosterone is bad for male hearts. For men, the VA actually does a decent job compared to most primary care, but only if one tests abnormally low.

Can you do bio-identical?
No. None. I've had 2 oncologists look at my history and it would be risky. So although the fatigue of no hormones and low thyroid is icky, it's not as icky and treatment was. Not worth the risk for me.

On a positive note ::
SS31, lipo c, carnitine and occasional TMG and NAD have made a world or difference for me! ☺️

Edit to add:
For joints and skin :ghk cu, bpc, tb4, Kpv blend
For sleep : Epithalon, Dsip and Pinealon rotating schedule
Brain : occasional pe2228 and p21

What is your protocol for pinealon?
I stack it in the eve with Epithalon, Epithalon and Dsip or 1mg in the morning for cognitive benefits.

My personal preference is 200-500mcg in the evening as part of my sleep stack.
I run it for 30 days and take a 2-4 week break. It's a very flexible peptide and has room for personalization.

Cycle 1 I felt it immediately. It had a mild stimulant effect on me so I moved it from before bed to earlier in the evening around 4pm-6pm. It did not induce relaxation or sleep. It works over time to support circadian rhythm, cognitive support and mood. What I noticed immediately was whether my sleep was good or poor, I woke up "feeling " better - a change from my normal "is it really time to get up already ?" 😩 as a non morning person. I've always been a night person so getting up at 6am is a struggle no matter what. It was very strange but welcomed.

A research article I read said it can take up to 3 years to notice the effects !

I've cycled it 4 times in the past 8 months.

The 1mg morning routine was nice for focus and a mood lift, but after 2 weeks I found myself getting really hungry late at night. Did some research and sure enough it can increase metabolism and have a delayed effect on appetite.

Overall the stack has increased deep sleep, sleep time, rem sleep and I become naturally ready to fall asleep around 9:30pm when my norm is 11pm to 1am.
When I wake at 3am I can fall back asleep now as well.

Thank you so much!! Very good information!

I’m not a morning person either and hope that it can work that way for me. Also good to know about the increase in hunger which I struggle with currently but have cagri on the way for that. 🤞🏼 that it helps. Thanks again!
