Bad experience here, second time had fried stuff, and every time I feel almost passing out, start sweating, feeling dizzy and faint. Anyone experienced same ? I was so scared and thought was because glucose, adding Reta wasn’t a good idea btw, seems to hit glucose harder than only Tirz.

Yeah thats one of the big ones they expressly tell you not to eat. Its potentially like hospital dangerous. Along with drinking alcohol probably being the worst. But ofc its always based on how much.thought id get away with some wings. Nope. Bubble guts for 24hours.

Tried alcohol once and felt terribly, and I was an heavy drinker, couple of glass and I legs was shaking, luckily Tirz washed away my alcohol cravings and that’s amazing. The feeling with fried food was almost the same, feeling dizzy, then sweating and the panic. Terrible. Happen also with whey protein, a bit less traumatic but def affects glucose by raising insulin fast. Being on Tirz since 6 weeks and there’s always something to learn.

I've been on tirz for almost a year and haven't yet tried anything fried because I get queasy just from smelling it. I picked up an order for an event from a place with a fry-heavy menu and had to fight not to retch just breathing their air. Dear god, I love tirz so much.

There really is no good reason to believe eating fatty food should do anything much to glucose or insulin levels, and protein could increase glucose a tiny bit but generally has a glycemic index close to zero, so not sure what is going on there either. I do not have an explanation for what is causing the symptoms, sounds a bit like nausea without the nausea or even gallstone pain without the pain, given that both of those are not unlikely responses to high fat meals, especially while on GLP's. Just doubtful it has much to do with glucose or insulin. I do not think I have eaten anything high in fat now for nearly 4 years, and on GLP's really just do not feel at all inclined to. Generally avoiding large or high fat meals is recommended on GLP's but usually to reduce nausea as a side effect.

My first 2 months I kept getting gut pains, and typically bloated with gas. I do lots of whey protein and that definitely set it up. I got queasy a couple times after fatty meals but ever since I added Reta to the Tirz (month 3 going on month 5). All that indigestion and bloating and slow stomach went away.

The drugs slow digestive emptying so all of these things mentioned: alcohol, fats... significantly different digestion in your stomach now. Alcohol is being absorbed over a longer time in your stomach. Similarly fats make a nice exit slick and can coat the stomach. Listen to your body it's telling you to stop.

“When a large, slow-to-digest mass of greasy food sits in the stomach, it can stimulate the vagus nerve, leading to parasympathetic overactivity. This vagal response can manifest as sudden lightheadedness, nausea, sweating, and heart palpitations shortly after eating.”

When a friend started(350+lbs), he was 3 weeks into it and his birthday came. His wife made his favorite meal- Chicken fried steak, mashed potatos and some other fixin's. He had 2 servings of CFS and told me that he paid for it dearly with upset stomach.
I've told people that Rta will make you eat clean!

I experience this on very heavy period days.
