Hi guys looking for a bit of advice

1. Where is best to pin GHK-CU for overall health benefits like skin hair benefits?

2. What dosage to start on? I’ve seen so many different things one said 1mg a day 5 on 2 off others say half of that.

I take 2mg daily, as part of KLOW blend. I use 3 vials in a row, then take about 4 weeks off. I usually inject into my abdomen, but GHK-Cu alone has a burn, so the glutes might be better to keep from feeling it as much.

I just do belly fat. If you don't have too much, you can pinch or hit the handles. Like has already stated, there is a little burn that lasts for seconds but nothing that would make you not do it.

The location doesn't much matter. I do it for 6-8 weeks, every day, 1.75 mg a day. (I use KLOW, and calc a dosage where I'm getting that much of the GHK-cu). Then 6 weeks washout. I've done two cycles. Also, GHK-Cu alone is likely to hurt.
So how much solo ghkcu? No blend still 1.75mg or 1mg?

For someone looking specifically for hair growth on their head, is the pin effective or is the cream the only way to go?

I'm a firm believer that Sub-q is Sub-q, so pin wherever is most comfortable and you can reach. The Mrs. likes her pins in the glutes, I use abdomen because I can get there.

I had to assume my 100mg GHK-cu was in fact 100 mg. I mix it in the same vial with 20 mg KPV, reconned in 2 ml of BAC. I recon the GHK-cu in 3 ml, and add 1 ml more BAC into the vial before I add both. I pin 12 units, which should be bang on 2 mg. I guess even if the vial is overfilled, which GHK-cu seems notorious for, I'd be at most 4 mg.

We're in our first cycle, so we'll probably stay on 8 weeks and then off 4.

UPDATE... so like i said NO sting when i did jab but about 1hr later got bit of sting and its still sting now at the injection site 15hrs later ?
can this happen? next jab im going to add more BAC water to weaken it down a little bit

Yes it is normal.
Saw reports where the sting lasted 24h.
For me it was 12h.

I split the dose to different sides of my belly button. No sting.
I went back to a single injection after 1 week. No more sting.

I did 20 (1 GLOW vial ) or so daily pins of 2mg. I thought the same as you, no discomfort. 2 hours later there was a minor dull ache. It lasted 12-24 hours. Could ignore it unless I paid attention to it. It did not matter where it was administered. I rotated from right thigh/glute across the abdomen to the left thigh/glute. Experienced very minor bruising on 2 abdoomen pins. Was taking zinc and Zyrtec orally on occasion.

In short, yes.

I started pinning with a 4mm needle, in a pen. The sting was almost instant and then tapered off throughout the day. The following day I would have a bit of a welt but no pain. The day after that I would have no pain at all and an almost invisible mark.

I jumped up to 6mm as I had heard it reduced the sting. Well, initially that was true. Then it came back just the same as the 4mm pin and lasted just as long.

It didnt matter where I pinned either, all the same result really. I tend to stick to Glutes now. Its a tad difficult to access, but with a pen, its easy enough.

The good news (dont worry, there is some!) is that after a few weeks my welts/sting/pain seems to have really reduced. It could be the 6mm pin, it could be just my body getting used to it. It could also just be ME getting used to it. If I think about it, I can feel it. But it doesnt impact my day anywhere near as much as it used to.

Hope that helps 🙂

thanks for the reply I feel better now that you have all had the same issues. I thought I got away lightly with no sting …lol

Thanks for this how many days do you pin 5 on 2off or every day?

Anela, who designed the Glow protocol, states that the proper dosage schedule is 7 days on, no days off. When I start, I'll follow her recommendation. She says that the 5 on/2 off schedule was started by wellness clinics.
ok so just do 7 days 2mg a day.. I'm not using Glow although I do take bp157 tb500 on there own

Thanks for asking the questions and for everyone's replies.

I've been reading to titrate up over 8-12 weeks from 1.0-2.0 in 0.5 increments (1.0, 1.5, 2.0) than cycle off for 2-4 weeks.

Has anyone titrated up from 1.0 or are y'all starting testing at 2.0 and increasing from there?

I'm low and slow on all my testing thus far and want to make thoughtful decisions.

If you are looking specifically for hair growth, I would recommend looking into the raw powder forms of AHK-cu and GHK-cu. You can make a topical hair serum. I follow Anela's protocol for it which is AHK-Cu (1%): (0.6g) and GHK-Cu (6%): (3.6g) in the same 60ml Base. The base serum I like is "The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density" which can be bought on amazon. Apply it to the scalp daily. For best results apply after a shower or dampen your scalp before application. Also, you can use a micro-needle roller for a little extra absorption.

I’m still learning about a lot of this stuff, but so far the only actual physiological reason I’ve seen given for a 5on/2off cycle for a peptide is for the ones that are known to cause water retention or bloating. In other cases it seems to just be an arbitrary modification or way to attempt to be conservative with the dosing. I’m not at the point yet where I would confidently tell someone what they should do themselves, but I will say that personally, in the absence of some known accepted reason like a GLP designed to be injected weekly or a specific half-life or side effect related reason, I am defaulting to daily injections as opposed to 5on/2off. Being conservative to begin a new protocol makes sense to me but I will do this by starting with a low dose daily as opposed to taking 2 days off a week without a specific reason why.

Good advice. There is never a reason NOT to start low and slow with any peptide in my book, and every reason to do that. Unless you're a YOLO Tiktoker and feeling lucky, use your head and take a pragmatic approach.

Yup. Although if you take those plus GHK-CU, you still are using Glow.
yes but not in one pin. i do 2mg GHKcu 1mg tb500 1mg bp157 are you doing 2mg of each? thanks
