I would like to start by thanking the creators of this forum. Really a great resource. I also appreciate everyone that is sharing information and their experience.
I started taking tirzepatide at the end of May 2024. My wife has been on it for 18 months. It has been a life changer for her. So far for me as well. We have been getting compound from Mochi since I started. I appreciated having the Dr. when I started, since I really didn't know much. The big downside was having two people on compound as a monthly expense.
Over the last few months I started looking for other options and educating myself. The FDA removing tirzepatide from the shortage list accelerated that. The more I learned, the more I realized that the compound i have been taking is a joke for what it costs.
This example made me cancel everything from Mochi. My last vial was 60mg. 50 units every week (15mg). I took the last shot and I had a lot of liquid left (35 units). I have no clue how much tirzepatide was in that vial. Have I been under dosing myself? And this is a normal thing with them.
My expectation from a pharmacy is that they would have this measured out correctly. Why am I paying this massive bill for a half-assed product?
So I have decided I can do better buying the tirzepatide from their suppliers and knowing what is actually in the vial. And saving a shit ton of money.
