Okay, I'm going to throw my two cents in. Not a doctor, just another guy on the internet. However I can relate to feeling overwhelmed and frail. GLglpguy suggested the YWCA or other groups to swim or exercise. You said you go to your sisters once a week. Once a week is not enough, at least three times a week is needed. The thing with groups is, you'll make new friends and acquaintances. You will motivate each other to keep showing up, and working towards a goal. You will also learn about each others struggles, and what works for them. That will give you a support group, even if it's only for an hour three times a week. That will help you mentally as well as physically.I do think it has something to do with mitochondria, that's why I thought I would start with MotsC. Seemed like a fairly reasonable jump. I was also considering NAD+ but read some things that put my radar up. My short-term memory is not great so I can't remember at the moment but something turned me off about it. I guess I'll just keep taking the MotsC and Provigil for now. I do also take levothyroxine for thyroid and folic acid prescribed by my primary. I also ordered some liquid saffron extract, L-THEANINE Liquid and a liquid multivitamin. I figured none of those would hurt but could help. Otherwise, I'll wait till July.
Next: If you are on GLP-1's you need protein. Go to a good health food store (not walmart or a pharmacy) Pick up 5lbs of whey protein. Make a protein shake with your largest meal. Better yet with two meals. Eggs and avocado's are good protein sources, eat them. Then find a good strong multi vitamin with minerals. Ask for help picking one out. I use Twinlab daily one caps as a minimum, meet of beat what it has in it. These two things are a must, it may take 60-90 days before you notice the difference, however it will come. Take your multi with your first meal of the day.
While at the health food store, pick up the 5 supplements that every health/fitness doctor, and internet fitness influence recommends. Creatine Monohydrate, Vitamin D3 with K2, CoQ10, an Omega-3 with high EPA and DHA, and Magnesium. (magnesium glycinate before bed will give you better sleep) Don't try them for two weeks and give up. Give it 90 days. You will see and feel a difference. You also spoke of NAD+ The vitamin Niacin (B6) is better and cheaper than NAD+. Your body will turn NMN, NR, or NAD into Niacin in the body. Just skip that process and use Niacin. Niacin will cause skin flushing when you first start taking it, or when you up the dose. 500mg-1mg is where I would want to be with it.
While it sounds like I'm giving medical advice, I'm not. I'm just repeating my own personal research and what works for me. Remember, I'm just another idiot on the internet that you don't know. A Google search would give you the same information. Good luck, and don't give up.
