Hello all!

I have been on Wegovy for about 18 months. I max'd out my dosage and stopped losing weight last August. I have military insurance so the approval process was BRUTAL, but I finally got approved.

I reached out through the VA to get switched over to Zepbound and they started me on that 4 weeks ago and the beginning dosage of 2.5mg. It is a frustrating process because I stopped the Wegovy (at max dosage) to begin the Zepbound at beginning dosage. I have had absolutely no side effects with either medication. I called for a refill of the Zepbound, and I clarified that I needed to titrate up, but they sent me the 2.5mg again (sigh).

I heard about grey a few months ago and started researching it. It has opened a whole new world for me! I began gathering my supplies.

I ordered Reta, needles, Hospira bac water, a lunch container, 3d printed holders to go inside....etc. I made my first few injections beginning VERY slowly. No side effects at 1mg twice a week. I took my first 2mg yesterday.

I originally ordered 12mg Reta (10 pack) and it took me a minute to research and get the confidence to reconstitute calculating overage. But I did it and I feel good about it.

That's it for me. Oh, and I initially lost about 40 pounds on the Wegovy. I haven't lost anything in about a year so I'm hoping between the Zepbound and the Reta, it kicks in and I am able to lose about another 30 pounds.

I am in my upper 50s, very healthy (I thank the good Lord because my biological family is NOT healthy) and after losing the initial 40 pounds I can FINALLY TIE MY SHOES!!😋😊🥰

Congrats on your journey and for getting approved. We're you diabetic? My wife jumped through every hoop T-care threw at her but was ultimately denied.

Welcome! I would definitely keep filling your Zepbound script (with dosage increases). It's good way past it's expiration date and many people prefer it over Reta. It'll be a great item to have in your war chest. Six months from now you'll have 15mg Zep shots in the fridge with the knowledge of how to split them for no out of pocket when your ready to try Tirz. Even if you save it for maintenance...what'll you have to lose? 🤪

I was NOT diabetic or pre diabetic. However, I had sleep apnea. For 6 mos I had to run through the gamut of oral medications.
