Yeah tirzepatide is tirzepatideRandom question: research subject is switching from compounded tirz to grey at 5mg. Still have 2.5 of compounded left. Is it okay to combine? Separate pins of course.
Yeah I just wasn't sure about mixing the compounded (which I honestly feel like did nothing) with the gray. I'm such a cheapskate I can't just throw away the compounded, lolYeah tirzepatide is tirzepatide
It's the same thing, Tirz is TirzYeah I just wasn't sure about mixing the compounded (which I honestly feel like did nothing) with the gray. I'm such a cheapskate I can't just throw away the compounded, lol
I was on 2.5 of Eli Lilly for 4 weeks and then moved up to 5 of a compounded from Red Rock. Didn't really have any effects. This week I will do the combo and then after that go completely gray. If I'm still in the same boat I will increase dosage as you said.Could be a nocebo effect. It's well documented that the more expensive (and bitter) a medication is, often the greater the perceived effect.
But far more likely: you need to up the dosage (in order to experience the same effect as before, since your body is already accustomed to the current dose). Per my board-certified internist, you can safely increase the dose of tirz by 2.5 mg every week (without any major problems except annoying GI side effects like diarrhea, provided you stay hydrated).
