Group Buys

I'd skip the group buys entirely (unless they are a sale from one of the big names, they call them group buys because... I don't know why). If you want to save money, go with SRY or Sigma Audley. They're already cheap—around 50c per mg, making your max research cost about $10/week. They do enough volume that any problems get noticed quickly. SRY recently had an issue with black stuff in their vials—turned out to be fragments from vial stoppers, according to SRY. People noticed immediately, made noise about it, and SRY sorted it out. Not guaranteeing you'll never have an issue, but you're less likely to have major surprises buying a popular product like tirz from a big name.

If testing is a must, PGB is the best option—use the search bar here to get more info on them. Another route for testing is the "stairway to grey" telegram group, where you can join or set up your own testing groups. The general advice i've received here is to avoid group buys. Better to buy direct from reliable sources and test yourself or with Stairway or with PGB

It is hard for group buys to stay up and vet people. I belong to a trusted group buy group and they only allow invites to new people rarely.
Seem the bigger a GB server on discord gets the faster it is nuked. Only takes one bad link or discussion topic posted to cause that. It is a lot of effort to restore a server post nuke. Most of the better ones I'm in don't do invites often these days.

Is the risk of seizure higher with group buys? So even if the vendor reships as promised to the group buyer, isn't the large size of the order(s) a red flag for customs? But I haven't seen any indication that this risk is a real risk with group buys.

I've seen vendors break up the order and use different routes.

Group Buys (or portions of them) get seized all the time. The GBO makes the announcement "hey y'all... It's gonna be a bit longer for the reship." This has to be preferable to both the vendor and the buyer.

I have no special knowledge, but I'd expect that in the context of all the package sizes coming through Customs, it's a mere rounding error in dimensions/weight between 1 kit and 100 kits.

So it begs the question... the organizers or admins of GBs on TG - are they being compensated? Are they making money or getting free product? (👋 sorry if ya'll are here). I bought from a GB and you can tell that there is a "core group" that handled everything - polls, collecting money, paying in Crypto, organizing shipping - they are being very transparent and it has been a learning experience for sure. However, 2 of the main organizers in said "core group" both stated that they don't use the product being bought. Which... is a little odd to me... surely it isn't altruistic.... thoughts?

They would be crazy not to I guess, since they may need bail money.

I don't even know if I have the patience for some of these group buys which have like a 2-month wait, and the wait may be even longer if there is a reship. But I guess I could wait, for hoarding purposes.
