I'm not sure what's going on with GYC. They appear to be offline, and there's a message posted in their Discord channel "GYC is currently undergoing internal adjustments following an unplanned inspection. This is a routine regulatory process to ensure proper operational compliance".

Yes they have been saying that across all their channels: unplanned inspection last Thursday then silence.
I think I got lucky, I placed an order on June 5 and received it via DHL on the 13th. (Paid a tariff on the 11th) Communication and check-ins were excellent for the 10 days or so I was interacting with them.
FWIW I haven't tried to update them to let them know it all worked well while they've been dark.

I have never seen GYC taking a break before. So it seems bad, as in game over for GYC.

Its not looking good. 7 days of radio silence. There are people putting links for different resellers and discords in the general chat on GYC's Telegram.
Its a bummer, like I said above I had a v. positive experience for the brief moment I worked with them.

I don't keep track of it on my calendar, but seem to recall that every year around Dragon Boat Festival time at least one of the Chinese ends up getting "inspected" and closed down.

I have it from fairly reputable source that GYC's shipping address was tapped, which resulted in a lot of packages being seized at the border and they are in the process of relocating their operation to a different locale. I guess the accuracy of that remains to be seen.
so probably a good time not to order next year

Regarding one theory: If the "inspection" was a government takedown, why have SSA and SRY gone unscathed? Too big to fail? Too many government connections?

I'm seeing some signs of life on the GYC Telegram & PepChat. Seems like they are only using an email with info@ handle. All the others (John, Yoko, Lisa etc.) should be avoided for now.
Also, seems like there are people pretending to be the GYC sales reps that have been DMing people. They are advising people not to trust any DM solicitations. --Probably a good practice generally.

Another interesting thing is M-Peptides went dark at the same time and ppl reportedly started hearing from them yesterday as well. Also by email only. 🤔

There were several others that "disappeared" around the same time 6/18-6/18 as GYC did and now they are all "semi-back" all at the same time. Pretty strange and coincidental. Annual govt. crackdown? No doubt, there are also some scammers trying to cash in on this situation.
Now see, we need guys like you thinking ahead. Would you put a note on your calendar to remind us of this next year? 🥰
