Hi, I was diagnosed with T1D in October 2022 at the age of 32. I've been an active person my whole life - running, hiking, skiing, and I'm currently training for a half marathon! I had to be hospitalized last week because my ketones were so high (I haven't had any since). I use a Dexcom monitor (not yet on pump) and am worried about nighttime hypoglycemia. My sugars are all over the place when exercising - not sure if I need to change pre-exercise nutrition or whether I need to adjust insulin doses based on meal content. I'm going to talk with my Diabetes Specialist Nurse, but this forum is a great resource too! Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Just curious if you are on anything for cholesterol? That sounds so much like my husband when they put him on Lipitor (atorvastatin)
