Hello! My name is Tara. I’m from PA, and am new to the peptide world. My nursing background does help to understand the minimal med math needed to reconstitute. After buying from US vendors for awhile, I was finally ready to follow the breadcrumbs trail, and I’m irritated with myself for waiting so long and essentially wasting hundreds of dollars.

Very grateful for this forum, I’m a somewhat silent lurker as I’m beginning to look into stacking to enhance appetite suppression before GLP injection day, and some energy and beauty enhancement peps.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

I actually did try this, but I ended up with allodynia, which was genuinely the worst I’ve felt since I had shingles years ago. I even tried splitting my dose, and then just lowering the dose. 7 days is my sweet spot. I still get it a bit the day after shot day on my lower legs, but when I tried to inject on the 6th day, it was my entire body.

Fair enough, sounds like you've got some pretty extreme reactions to tirz.
Are you still losing weight on your current dose?
What's your titration schedule been?
Have you considered reta?

I’m still a baby to Tirz. I’m on week 6, at 5mg. And I’ve actually felt lucky that I don’t get much of the GI upset that I’ve read about. But yes! Actively losing. I have about 40 pounds that could go. I’ve been seeing everything about Reta, and I’m definitely interested, but I want to see how long I can stick with Tirz. Don’t want to exhaust all my options. I’ve also got a small stockpile so…

You've been on 5mg for 6 weeks or you've been on tirz for 6 weeks and recently went to 5mg?

I don't have context on how much calories you're eating everyday and how much activity you're doing which both greatly effect your hunger.

Either way I just want to point out a couple general things you might not have thought of yet.

The goal of the medication is to help you become healthier. If you're losing weight, its probably working wether you feel hungry or not. Complete hunger suppression is a side effect, not the goal. We should be striving to build a new healthy relationship to food. Wether we need the medication for the rest of our lives to maintain that relationship is yet to be seen for each of us, but health should still be the primary focus.

Side effects like you're mentioning are almost always part of your body becoming accustomed to a new dose. Because of the long half life of tirz you haven't even been fully exposed to a given dose until you been on it for 5 weeks. This is why very slow titration is preferable. Yes some people can tolerate the side effects more than others. And the trials had month after month titration. But this was so they could show maximum effect in a fixed amount of time, not for the comfort of the participants.
