Has SRY built back their rep?

was it the yellow t30 cap that tested back great? i got that one too but i somehow missed all the 3rd party test groups.

I ended up with 4 kits of the yellow cap.

SRY over the past year has either been building back or failing miserably. The only constant is Alan trying to hold things together and Lucy being stuck on her first day on the job!

They were on a good swing when I ordered several times last fall but have been off my go-to list since. They know the impact a cheap pricelist can have and the threat of QSC coming back was probably more of an instigator than their reputation.

Ok, I'm going to fess up....I ordered about 5 times the last month. The batch of T30 was a good deal and was tested by multiple 3rd parties, all came out great. Stocked up for years. I ordered Klow but I'm waiting for testing. The Ghk-Cu issue of overfilling...I'm not angry about that but disappointed they haven't addressed it. The 3rd party tests are out there though. I ordered it hoping it was the same batch 😃. Anyone who orders it without doing some homework will not have a clue about the overfill.
There's another vendor that was gaining some positive ground and I was hoping to use them often but suddenly their communication has been terrible and they have a LOT of shipping issues. All of my orders from SRY have come quickly and communication is great.
Those who have been ordering grey longer than I have stress that you can't get too comfortable because it's just a matter of time until an issue comes up...it's not IF but WHEN. From what I've seen so far, SRY is trying to get gain their reputation back and as long as it's going well, I'll ride the SRY train! (with caution!)

If your “promising vendor” is who I think it is, I placed and order on July 20th and it came quick. It seems like once their primary Sales Rep went out on maternity leave, everything ran downhill quick. I’m guessing she handled the bulk of the business and no one on their end was ready to step up and run the show.

Yea, "that vendor" doesn't even have anyone policing it's TG/Discord so it's turned into the wild wild west! I've mentioned it elsewhere, but I got a COA from a different vendor (same product and cap as TFC) when I asked for one that wasn't on their list. I was a bit surprised they copped to distributing another TLA's product, and that was right before this debacle.

I always had the impression they resold or were a fallback branch of someone else in case of a raid. They had suspected ties to a couple other vendors, and those usually tested solid third party, so using them wasn’t a worry. That changed in a hurry.
