Heart rate on Reta

That RHR increase (For Most) is crazy to me.. I'm finally down to the mid 50's.... I can continue Tirz and watch from the sidelines.
Have a good day everyone!

I’ve had some trials and tribulations with HR on Reta.

My biggest concern was my max HR during intense exercise. It was registering almost 220 on my farming Fenix. I never felt my HR acting k like that. I got a chest strap and this concocted has abated, I am back exactly where I should be, 188.

After 5 months, my RHR is drifting slowly back down. I had been 48-53 ish, but it went up to 65-68. Now on steady 4mg for about 3 months, my RHR down at 62 and I expect it to drop below 60 over time.

Was reading some of the ADA info presented this week by Lily about the reta trials. Some cardiac arrythmia issues but also two cardiac related deaths during the trial. Lily rep downplayed it as not statistically significant. Haven't seen stats yet looking at age-specific impact on RHR or cardiac events. As an older person, that's the data that interests me most. Plenty to love about Reta, but I'm still keeping an eye out for such study details.
