Hello! I’m 45 and am also a fellow Midwesterner. I had a gastric sleeve done in Jan 2024. I didn’t lose what I’d hoped bc I’m “post menopausal”, which I found out After the surgery and why I’d only lost 20%. (I gained 60 lbs in one year from surgical menopause from having an ovary torsion and having emergency surgery). Insurance doesn’t cover glp’s, so I spent some money and started compounded Tirtz 2 1/2 weeks ago and am LOVING the results! I’m down 10 lbs already and I’m off my adhd meds and no longer desire alcohol at All. My mental health is the best it’s been in YEARS and I just cannot believe how good I feel. It’s been such a struggle with figuring out HRT the past few years. So, now I want to learn all I can about peptides and going grey so I can afford to continue to feel this way. I still cannot believe what a difference it’s been for me so far. So, on that note, thanks so much for adding me and I’m so excited to dive in and learn as much as possible from everyone and also want to be as safe as possible while doing so. Cheers

I love the bit about going off your adhd meds! Any update on how things are for you now? And have you added any new peptides or thought of switching to Reta?

I found the going off alcohol side effect only last about 4 months for me, I've been on Terz for 16 months now and definitely don't have that any more! It was helpful while it lasted, I do like a weekend drink but the extra calories do no favours!
