Started on Tirz back in August of 2024, quickly switched to compound, then found my way here after the first shutdown scare and have been here ever since. Currently on Reta and enjoying the extra energy that I have with it. Weight loss wise I started at around 300 pounds and I'm currently bouncing around 225-230 at the moment without a whole lot of exercise so pretty happy with the results. I'm actually pretty familiar with this board and the community/members across Discord/other forums but wanted to get some posting privileges so here I am introducing myself.

So you already have low expectations. And yet you still joined due to Stockholm syndrome.
What a trooper 😁

But seriously, I love your username. And I will transition from tirz to reta too at some point.

It'll be nice once Reta finally becomes available commercially as then I can finally be honest with my PCP about what I'm taking. My PCP is great and understands why someone would go the route of compound or research peptides but I think it's a bridge too far to discuss openly that I'm taking a drug now that's still in human trials technically.

Did you face fatigue on Tirz and is the fatigue gone on Reta?

I did. The fatigue has gone away significantly after switching to Reta. Also I've had little to no issues relating to the fabled increased heart rate stuff. Like, my Apple Watch says I've gone up by about 5 bpm but I wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't being tracked.

I definitely think about food more now though. And my weight loss has slowed a bit after switching actually. But I'm okay with that because I actually feel like a normal human being now and just eat what I want, when I want. I plan on taking this stuff for the rest of my life so what do I care if I only drop somewhere around 3-4 pounds a month now from here on out? Tirz was totally different, I'd do shit like, "Man, I haven't eaten at all today and it's 7pm... Maybe I'll just eat some buttered toast and call it a day and go to bed?" which obviously is less than ideal.

I like that you seem to have a plan, but if I can make a small suggestion... Tell your PCP about the reta so that it can be part of your plan together. The Dr will tell you that it is not recommended, but he can at least have an idea of what may be impacting other aspects of your biology when you go in for labs and checkups.

The alternative would be to change to a practice that understands peptides and peptide therapies.

Thats a detailed and well put response. I feel the same on Tirz - dont feel like eating at all and Im shoving food down my throat just to meet my protein target. Its great to hear that you dont feel fatigue on Reta

I wish I could find some vendor who ships Reta to India. Most of them arent shipping to India and I have no option but to take mounjaro

India is great for liraglutide pens (as you may know), but they are obviously older generation and not as effective (at least in general). But I do wonder if using them may help one stay on a lower dose of tirz, which is what I will be trying within a few weeks.

Though I'm sure you can find some seller to ship reta to you, I hope it's not too expensive or scammy.

I searched the vendor forum for the word "India" and found a reference last summer to SRY's "no reship" policy for India and some other countries (in case of seizure at customs). So at least in the past, SRY used to ship to India. And so I assume other vendors in China may as well.

I talked with SRY - They will ship but they said that many of their orders didnt reach the customer and they don't reship if it gets seized by the customs. And thanks for the reference

So even if other vendors like SSA also ship to you, that does not bode well for getting through customs. I would inquire with SSA if you haven't already about their ship and reship policy.

And I do wonder if the reta listed at IndiaMart is all a potential scam.

How much does the Monjaro cost you? From what I see at 1mg.com, it may be about $50 USD for a single 5 mg vial, about $10 per mg. If that is the case, you are paying almost US prices for the prescription (at least if you took the higher doses of tirz and compared it to Eli Lilly's direct, mail-order pharmacy prices for Zepbound).

I see one, isolated cheap price at IndiaMart, which is suspiciously low as there are some scams there.

Yes! Its $50 for a 5mg vial. Im not sure if Indiamart is genuine.

The lowest prices I found are from Cathy PTB. They said they will ship to India but then after a few hours they denied 🙂

One more problem with sellers in India is that they have license to only export and they wont sell in India
