Hello, I have been taking GLP-1s for a few months now, and after looking around found this forum. I've been doing a lot of research, and this forum has been a big part of it. I hope that in a couple of months I will be able to confidently start doing my own reconstitutions. I think I will be going the filter route. Although I do have a question, if I currently take 10mg, should I take 10mg right away from a vendor? I've seen a few people mention taking less.

They didn't give a reason, I just saw it in passing. The specific one I remember is admittedly from another new person to the forums, saying "so I'll probably conservatively try 0.5mL (4.5mg) for my first dose from this vial. I usually take 7.5mg, so hopefully all will be well."

I think I saw a couple other mentions of doing this, but I could be wrong. After a few hours it all starts jumbling together.

I have seen the post you are referring to, and it relates to not knowing what is in the vial-
If you are unsure of the total potency.
If I buy a 10mg kit and it is actually 14mg , it would be concerning.

Some people test to determine content or they get involved in a group test.
Other people rely on vendor data-
Whichever method you decide is right for you it will have a report on actual weight of peps.

If you wanted to be prudent, you might make your first dose smaller.
That I have seen posted by a few people.

On a side note: .5 ML could be any size dose, it has only to do with dilution or reconstitution.
It has nothing to do with mg strength. If I put 3 ml in a 60 mg vial, each .5ml dose would be 1/6th or 10mg. If I put 2ml in a 60 mg vial each .5ml dose would be 15mg or 1/4th

Yes I have seen some of the reports, and some of them can be several mg off. I'm hoping to buy now and wait a bit to see if any issues with the batch I get come up, and to go off of the vendor report for the mg content.

And yes I do know that the mL amount depends on how much bac water is put in, I have a calculator saved so I make sure I get the right amount when the time comes. 🙂 But I do appreciate the clarification in case anyone else comes across this thread while researching.

(Also I read your reply to the crypto thread and the way you explained it was great; I'm new to crypto and had no idea that 2 separate wallets/apps were needed to avoid being banned)

Hey there! You must be on a script GLP1. Reconstituting vials used to intimidate me but it really is a piece of cake as long as you have a good peptide calculator. Glad you have one saved to use, you're already ahead of the game. 😀

Yeah I get it from a telehealth vendor, one of the ones that's become popular recently (idk if I can mention it here). It's a good deal compared to a lot of compound places, but still way more expensive than stuff on here. I'm glad I started with it, but now that I've figured out the medication more and how I react to it I think I can take it from here.
