I’m so indecisive. Currently on 2.5mg tirz…

So I’m trying to decide if I should:

A) stick with 2.5 every 7 days and continue to let it build

B) stick with 2.5 but every 5 days

C) only go up to 3.5 and still every 7 days

D) go ahead and stick to the standard jump to 5mg….

I am about to take my 4th dose tonight. It definitely helps with craving and hunger but I’m still quite hungry, especially days 1, 5,6,7. I’m generally happy but with decreasing calorie goals I’d like to feel a little more satiated longer…

In the other hand if i start taking it every 5-6 days I feel like my schedule will be all over the place and hard to remember… especially with hubby starting this week.

It’s strange because it felt easier on week two vs this week so that’s why I’m not sure if one more week on 2 will do much differently…

So thoughts?

I have been breaking up the doses and pinning every other day. .6mg they add up to 2.2 a week.
I feel good and better on the pin day slightly less enrgy the next day. Zero negative side effects.
Loss averages 1.1lb a week. I am thinking of adding in reta, in tiny amounts to see if fat burn can be accelerated.

I’d go to 5. There’s clinical trials supporting moving up to 5 after 2.5. Success and rates of adverse events are a known quantity. I’d stick with the known until the known good protocols stopped working before I started in with guesswork. Sure, there’s lots of people doing 2.5 twice a week, .75 mg/ day, etc. etc. I’d guess those are fine, and seem to be effective. Is there a higher rate of adverse events? Are the people using those protocols getting benefits because they’ve better protocols, or because those people are statical outliers who happened upon something that works for them? Answer to both of those questions is “I don’t know”.

when I started I did the usual 2.5mg then went to 5mg then 7.5mg and back to 5mg.
7.5mg gave me a lot of side affects "not able to eat, nausea, no sleep, and tired all the time" So back to 5mg.

Tirzepatide has a half life of 5 days. Take your current dose on that schedule. If it’s not more effective, titration upward would be my next step.
