Hi everyone!

My name is Jeff and I am from Columbus Ohio. 49 year old divorced/single gay guy who has had it rough much of my life but at this time am enjoying..actually loving life. And I have GLP meds to blame lol.
2-3 years ago after a rough divorce, losing my job, losing my biological mom, and my best friend dying, I was very very close to just ending it all. I got as far as a detailed written plan and then I got sick. So sick I was hospitalized with unimaginable pain. It somehow caused me to find the will to live and when I recovered I made several significant changes in my life. I found a new job which brought me back to Columbus where I had friends and support. And I discovered GLP's. My weight has always roller coastered, but the past few years brought me up to around 250.
I started Zepbound in June 2024 and it started working quickly. My company has amazing health insurance so I was paying only $25/month. Then 3 months in they stopped covering all weight loss meds. Then I discovered compounded and started Tirz and it was equally as good. By month 8 I had lost 70 pounds and my life and zest was back. However, the cost was becoming prohibitive and my this past April I just had to stop. I thought I would be ok, but in 6 weeks gained 15 pounds back. I just couldn't let it happen again. I had found happiness again. So I researched and researched and after feeling nervous about peptides I took a chance and orders some Reta from an established US company and started those a few weeks back. Maybe a bit early to tell for sure but it feels like it's starting to work.
Still a little pricier than I have read some others have found but I found good reviews, so felt comfortable.
All in all my journey these past 12 or so months has been wonderful and I am excited to continue to learn in a safe place amongst folks who have had their own unique journeys.
Much love to you all and so glad to have found you! 💞

Welcome! I understand what you are saying....Beginning in 2014, I lost myself for over 10yrs and pretty much just gave up. I had gastric bypass in 2002 and lost all of my "tools" and when I was 15lbs from my starting weight in Oct 2024 I freaked out and started paying $500 a month to my Dr. for compounded Semiglutide. BROKE ME $$$
What else are we supposed to do? And here we are! 🤫😎☺️
