Liam Here, my doctor recently told me that I'm pre-diabetic and have high blood pressure. He said that if he checked my blood sugar right there it would be in the "pre-diabetic range". So I'm not really surprised to hear it from him.
I am definitely ready for some lifestyle changes. I've been experiencing fatigue and shortness of breath during even simple tasks since around Thanksgiving - the doctor suggested that was due to the high blood pressure.
My main stress eating habit is eating out at lunchtime, because my job is so sedentary that going out for lunch is one of the few times I actually get up and move around during the day. So I can see where a lot of this has come about.
I'm ready to do it right for once, though. I'd like to hear some suggestions on what kinds of things would be good for me as a beginner (as opposed to someone who's been working out for years) - exercise routines that I could start with now and gradually work my way up over time? Meal ideas and recipes?
I know this is all pretty basic, but if anyone has any advice they'd be willing to share it would really help me a lot. Thank you! 🙂
