I am here to learn and discuss my GLP-1 journey. I am taking tirz. 5mg. Not wanting to go up in dosage but not seeing results. Thinking about trying Reta but not sure. Not really interested in Sema because of all the negative side affects you here so much about. Learning all about peptides in general is very interesting to me. I'm in my mid fifties and wanting to lose around 40 pounds. I've lost 27 pounds and stopped taking tirz. It all came back because I didn't use the maintenance strategy. I'm not responding to it this go around and I really don't want to go to 7.5mg. Excited to learn and discuss!!

Welcome. There is a lot of info regarding 2nd time round GLP experiences. It seems that our bodies build receptor tolerances to glps.
I'm not a healthcare provider but do some research on this forum. You may come across others who have had to increase their dose to get the scale moving in the way you want.
Either way, welcome and wishing you all the success you are looking for.
Each day is a new day to start again!

Welcome! I have a similar story to yours. Started on tirz last year and stayed on 2.5 for like 3 months before titrating up to 5mg. I lost 30lbs but had to stop completely because of cost, so of course I gained it all back. Started up again in May this year but I was not getting any results on 5. So I’ve upped my dose to 6.5 because, like you, I didn’t want to go all the way up to 7.5. So far, 6.5 has been great! The appetite suppression is perfect and no side effects. I’ve lost 10lbs since then. Not saying this will work for you too but it might be worth a try?

I will increase small doses at a time. I'm hoping a little more is all it will take. Thank you
