So I'm getting to that point where I'm almost ready to make my first purchase from one of the many chinese suppliers.

Before I do, are there any hidden costs I haven't considered yet? Obviously there is the cost of the medication, plus an obvious charge for shipping.

Am I gonna find there are any additional hidden costs?

If you continue to research other peptides and their potential to help with other aspects of your health and wellbeing, you may find yourself creating a little (or large!) stockpile of ancillary peptides.

My journey started with Tirz….I now have peps to support muscle mass, mental clarity, brain health and mitochondrial function. I certainly wasn’t expecting this as an additional cost, but I’m happy as it’s still less expensive than branded Tirz👌

BAC water
Filtering supplies if you are filtering (safer)
Alcohol wipes
Needles to transfer BAC and peptides between containers (vial or cartridge)
Vials or cartridges
Syringes or an injection pen

Tariffs .. maybe
Thank you. I've already accounted for each of these expenses

Yeah, I kind of figured that was bound to happen. I know I could use a little BPC-157 as well.

You will get caught up in feeling great joy on your first peptide arrivals and then you will want to buy more. The more you research the more you will buy. I’ve got about 4 years worth of peptides sitting in my freezer plus a huge box of needles/syringes/bac water/wipes/ and the list goes on. Now I’m looking into buying direct from the labs/factories in china think i need to find a hobby which doesn’t include peptides

If you think you are committed to the weight loss program, and plan to get to the end, buy in bulk: box of 100 needles, syringes, etc. Jump on the 'holiday specials'. You will be surprised how many of each you will use, especially if you get addicted to add GHK, MOTS, SS31, etc. Will you upgrade to use pen's later on? different needles. My grocery bills (and restaurant visits) are now half of what they were, so my pep monthly net cost is almost 0. Suggestion: don't worry so much about cost (your health is priceless), but do focus on proper manipulation, sterility and cleanliness, COA.

I traded food addiction for peptide addiction. Started in grey to save money and now I drop thousands of dollars on a rainbow of peptides.
i hear you ! I feel the same way.
I stopped shopping for glp's now, but I have Tirz, Reta and Cagri to last me for 7-10 years, so I thought, it was time to take a break. ;-)
Now I want to shop other peptides ;-)

Peptide creep, and accessory creep. Though there IS a point where this all starts to be more realistically taken from the "hobby budget" than the "medical budget." Did I NEED to get a big, shiny surgical steel tray to do my recons and filtering on? No, but it looks so cool and makes me happy. Did I NEED to buy my wonderful little thermos pods in different colors for my freezer? No, but I love them and they delight me. Did I NEED seven different pens so that I could shoot up seven different kinds of chinese mystery powder in a week? No, but apparently that's what I want to be doing now. Do I NEED a niimbot so I can put delightful labels on each of my hundreds of stockpiled vials of tirzepatide? No, but I'm probably gonna buy it. Do I NEED beautiful labels for the niimbot I'm probably going to buy? Sigh. No. And yet...

I know right? I am expecting to sell my old house soon, not going to get a lot after it was trashed by squatters. Long story short, NEVER do business with family. Sigh.

Anyway ... a small windfall is coming. My first thought was "what peptides do I want to try?" Epitalon? SS-31, MOTS-C & NAD+? AOD-9604 & SLU-PP 332? Cagri? IPA & CJC?

Danger, Will Robinson. Danger!

I want to try epitalon so bad and am white-knuckling my way through "No. Stop it. You don't need to be shooting up this much shit, give it a rest." I'm already doing a klow cycle and that mitochondrial thing on top of stacking tirz and Survo, it's time to start spacing stuff out!

Me too!!! There is a kit of epitalon sitting in my freezer. I promised my self I would finish my mitochondria repair cycle first (nad+,ss31,mots-c). I'm taking break from Tessa/ip, KLOW. I'm still stacking tirz and mazdutide. It is hard to figure out which side effects are coming from where!!!

The nice thing about epitalon is, you only have to do it twice per year. The Russian studies show that it remains effective for months after taking.

But yeah, my stack keeps growing and growing. Tirz, GLOW (soon to be KLOW), epitalon, pinealon, Semax and selank as needed, just started sermorelin, and NAD+ & Thymosin Alpha-1 just arrived today.

Not to mention all the Korean skincare products I've started using since I learned about that market in one of the other peptide forums.

Don’t spend any money you are not willing to lose. Packages get seized and it’s not the vendors fault. If they reship for 50%, they are being generous. In rare occasions vendors get shutdown before a package ships and hundreds of people get burned. There is a lot that can go wrong. Think of it like gambling with better odds.

Or, hear me out here... You should all do the epitalon 1mg a night and have the best sleep of your life and not worry about the fact it's an extra pin because hey, we all need to have some kind of vice, right?

So much this. I was gonna hold off on my second klow cycle to finish out the mitochondrial thing, but thanks to my tirz/survo stack, I'm only twenty pounds from goal weight. I have ten weeks left on the mitochondrial thing, and I want to be actively on klow for as much of the weight loss thing as I can be so I get the best chance at skin recovery; so it's gotta restart now, or I'll miss it.

I keep telling myself that; there's no reason to hurry. I can even wait til after I hit goal to try it, since I plan to stop the survo stack when that happens. I spent stupid amounts of money in August-October building my tirz stockpile, and now am forcing myself to sit on my hands through November just to make sure I don't have a problem here.

As of now my stack is relatively simple. Sema, reta and KLOW. I'm not so sure the KLOW is doing very much currently and I doubt it would make much difference if I stop that one for a while. I have the ipa in my freezer so would only need to buy the CJC but that can wait too.

The mitochondrial protocol (mots-c, NAD+ and ss31) is only 14 weeks and maybe it would be better if I did that before the epitalon. By the time I finish those it will be spring and I could restart the KLOW and try the ipa & cjc.

I'm going to need a bigger peptide box in my freezer ....

I am REALLY liking the mitochondrial protocol. I feel slightly revved up, I've got enough energy to work out and don't feel like taking a nap all the time, and my rate of loss has sped up a bit.

OMG - Cuz I'm a sucker and doomed - what is the mitochondria protocol exactly? LOL...aaaagggghhhhhhh

Don't do it. It's NAD+ 2x a week for fourteen weeks. (25 mg each day for the first two weeks, then 50mg for weeks 3 and 4, then 100mg for the rest). On the third week, add SS-31, 4mg per day, every day, for six weeks. Then for the last six weeks, switch to MOTS-C 2x per week. (I don't remember the dosage cause I'm not there yet).

Supposedly the SS-31 gets your mitochondria ready to be heeeeeeealed by JEE-zus. Then the MOTS-C HEEEEEEEEEALS your mitochondria, by JEE-zus. And the NAD+ provides something or other that the mitochondria needs to do something, f if I remember what. I'm firmly unconvinced my mitochondria are even broken, but I'm doing it anyway.

If you search "mitochondria," a bunch of people keep posting a pdf with the protocol and a hundred scholarly articles that supposedly prove while it works. I don't know if they do or not, cause I didn't read them. What am I even doing here, man, I need to do other hobbies.

There was a recent study that finally showed. NAD+ might actually make it into your cells instead of a breakdown-transport-reassemble theory. It’s only one study but hey, progress.

I feel like my mitochondria are happier. I haven’t asked though.

I think there’s some indirect support for my droopy dopamine. Haven’t rubbed enough brain cells together to try to connect them.

I have neither SS-31 nor Mots-c in the house.

I’m to this point … I’m on HRT so had a 2 year head jump on poking myself regularly, twice per week.

The novelty is gone, I’m ready to point, click, be done. Seems like it would be easier to rotate sites (takes me two hands for a regular syringe).
