Hospira Bac 28 days Later

What is the final verdict guys. To keep punctured Hospira vial in the fridge or in the room temperature. I believe opinions are 50/50, but what exactly your experience indicates?

I do a dark cabinet in the garage.
Hope it's separated from the common garage stuff 😁 Anyway I'm a bit lost, but closer to store in the kitchen cabinet, wrapped in a tin foil...but hesitation is still strong. Paid around €50 for 2 vials, so would like to have it in the best condition as long as possible.

Really? Lawnmower, gas, a car, lots of spray paint, lube sprays, chemical sprays in pump up sprayer for weeds and insects.

I definitely just use the bottle until empty. I think I have three bottles open right now because I keep losing them 🫣

$25 is a rip off. The prices did just go up but plenty of places are still selling it for $10-15 per bottle. It will probably end up going up, but not up to 25, at least not soon.

Depending on how much my wife and I are researching a bottle of hospira lasts 1-4 months till it’s empty. I have never had a problem.

I would feel safer using 4 month old hospira versus a freshly opened vendor supplied bac water.

Well, you can do it the mfgrs way, keep it at room temp and pitch at 28 days.

Or, you can toss it in the fridge, and keep it 90+ days, breaking-bad style. (you know this is the way...)

Alternately, you can see this as a sign that you're doing it wrong. You're simply not using enough BAC water. Increase peptides consumption to match your desired water interval. GHK-Cu, TB500, BPC-157, Cagrilintide, Retatrutide, Tirzepatide. Hydrapeak! Storage trays! Buy another pen! Buy them in lots of 10! Needles! Alcohol swabs! More vials! Autoclave! UV Sterilizer! Downdraft hood! GAAAH!!!

I place my open hospira in a 3-D printed single bottle holder in the fridge for 60+ days without issue. Since it’s so hard to come by now and a very stable compound I’ve had zero issues.

I’d rather use properly stored and enclosed 60 day old hospira than new vendor or amazon Bac.

I also do up to 90 days, but I tend to run out within 60 days or less. My husband and I use it up doing quite a few peps.

Ok, but how long does BAC water last without ever being used/punctured?

I finally bit the bullet and bought the expensive hospira bac, I could only find 30 ML. I have read multiple times to discard after 30 days. I will only go through about 5 ML in that time. Did I just pay 25$ per vial to use 1/6 and throw the rest away or are you guys keeping these for longer? I figured maybe I could transfer it to fresh vials to make it last longer but id like to know if you guys are actually sticking to this 1 month expiration. Peptide research is an expensive hobby, might need to start an onlyfans
Keep it in the dark and use strict aseptic technique. If it’s not cloudy, it’s fine.

That's impressive. Is the data public/shared? Where could I find it?
It’s on Peppy’s. If you’ve joined there, it was available. There was a long discussion and they specifically asked for unopened expired bottles. That was the oldest one when I was reading the thread.

STG did some testing on BA levels over time. I don't have the chart handy, but the TLDR version is that it was stable for 90 days after first puncture.
For the sake of backing up what I claimed here, I found it.

I've been using my bottle since February. Think I read somewhere that the 28 day rule is for hospitals since the vials are getting punctured constantly. Surely information I randomly read can't be wrong 🤓
I use a vial access spike on mine. Let's you draw from the bottle without puncturing the top multiple times.

How long can it last with the vial access spike?

Container directions say to store at room temperature. You do whatever you want.

Captain Buzzkill strikes again. I wanted to like vial spikes when I started, but didn't love what I read about them for my applications so I let the feeling wane.
Yeah, I picked some up. Not a fan. I pin at 5am. It's too much of a hassle.

Has anyone been "brave" enough to just use plain ol' sterile water?
