How long does it normally take for the side effects to kick in?

I know its probably different for different people but would it be unusual for me to take a starter dose of maybe. 2 on a Friday afternoon and be back to normal by Monday morning? I see alot of people say it helps for about 3 days but I don't see how long the sides normally last. I have a kit in the freezer that I was saving for a stall which I'm now in but I want to be able to function when its time to go to work. Lots of talk about fatigue makes only want to try it over the weekend when I can lay around if I need to.
