How much Tirz should I buy?

I’m trying to figure out what size Tirzepatide to buy. I know it’s only good for 28 days after you reconstitute it.

My mom, ex-husband, and I all take Tirzepatide. I’m currently on 12mg/week and planning to stay on it long term, eventually transitioning to a maintenance dose. Mom is on 7.5mg/week and planning to keep going up and stay on a maintenance dose long term. Ex takes 5mg/week and is planning to keep going up but doesn’t want to be on it long term.

I’m trying to decide if I should buy the kits with 10mg, 30mg, 50mg, or 100mg. I have a small stash so far, but I am planning to order some more here soon.

What would you guys do?

@UghItsStupidNIHateIT if you plan on staying at 12mg/wk, I would go with the 30mg. However, I'm greedy for losing pounds and I would transition to Reta. Some even do a combo Tirz and Reta for the purpose of taking lower doses and gaining from the synergy.

It is good for much longer than 28 days
most are comfortable with several months. Clean with alcohol before and after each pin and keep refrigerated.

You are at 24.5 mg per week now. Do all three use same vial? if so there is no reason not to buy the 100+ and save $$ per mg

Even if it is just you and your Mom, the 100 still makes sense.. though I have not seen 100s
I buy the 60s. I have seen the 140s or 120s i believe.

I hit goal on Tirz only, not necessary to add Reta if it is working.

Are you planning to buy single high-dose vials and share between all 3 of you? That could be more cost-effective. The combined 4-week total for the 3 of you is 98 mg, so a single 100mg can be shared between all of you.

This is false. Can't find it with a 2 min search but they tested tirz and virtually no degradation at 60 days. I think actually only like 2 percent (don't quote me) at 90 days.

And with all those people sharing, probably 60mg vials. Any larger vial, the concentration is pretty high to accurately measure the smaller doses. 60mg vial with 3ml bac is 5 units per mg.

I would take a 30 mg kit and a 50 mg kit.

50 = 4 x 12.5 mg, so 3 weeks
30 = 6 x 5 mg; 4 x 7.5 mg; 3 x 10 mg, so 5 weeks max.

I’d do recon with 1.2 ml. That’s 6 x 0.20 ml; 4 x 0.30 ml; 3 x 0.40 ml.

The 30 kit could last ~7 to 12 months, depending on the dose. The 50 kit would last about 7 months.

I reconstitute it then split everyone into their own sterile vial when I filter.
