How to DM

How do you send someone a DM?

The best answer is to hop into a time machine, go into the future until you find the day when you've been here long enough, have enough posts and likes, and haven't received any warnings from mods and the ability to send DM's will be available to you.

The serious answer is that because of scammers and spammers abusing DM's trying to defraud members that new members are not allowed to send DM's until they've been here a while, had a certain number of posts and likes, and haven't done anything that resulted in a mod issuing a warning. I can't say exactly what those thresholds are (it's actually a weighted combination of them all), but my best advice is to just continue participating and eventually the option will automatically become available to you.

Oh, and if you do actually have a time machine, I would be willing to pay a substantial amount to borrow it.
