How To Vet A Vendor 🔎

HEY GLP1 FAMILY 👋🏼

I’d love to hear how everyone approaches VETTING PEPTIDE SOURCES, especially vendors based in China 🇨🇳 or those that claim to have a U.S. warehouse or “domestic shipping.”

What steps do you take to verify legitimacy—COAs, lab reports, domain checks, payment methods, and communication red flags? And for those who’ve used CRYPTO, how do you make sure your transaction is secure and the vendor is who they say they are? 🧐

Basically, what’s your personal DUE DILIGENCE CHECKLIST before you trust a new source? Any lessons learned or warning signs to look for would be gold. 🏆

For myself, I look here for them. Then Discord if they have one along with telegram. See how many people are following them or are online at once. More is better, folks don’t hang around just to do hang around.

Look for the complaints next because they are the loudest. Try and see how long the complainer has been there and see what other boards/channels you might have in common with them. Message the offended person and see what exactly happened being sympathetic to maybe get the whole story. Some folks don’t want to talk about it and that’s okay too. Ask yourself how many positive reviews you have posted as well, that’s not very common.

Check crypto wallet addresses and see what the traffic has been like. If most things are 1k or less in and out, that’s a normal order for most people.

See if wait times are acceptable to your needs by reviews or whatever is listed in the boards.

Then, message the people listed as contacts. I try and pick one and hit them up. Ask for price list then go into availability on what exactly you want. Tell them where you found them at. Ask for discounts based on payment method. When BTC is acting crazy; see if they take USDC. It’s more stable. Throw in a bit of haggling if you are actually spending a chunk of change. I do that at the furniture store, can’t hurt with pep vendors.

I went through all this back in June and settled on SRY. Then September 2025 happened and having to start all over now. Have it narrowed down to 5 vendors, most of which sponsor here. Have to feed the machine to keep solid info coming. Let them know if it was a referral or you saw them on GLP1 forum.

I filter out my "no's" and will buy small orders from anyone who is left. This is not a recommendation, just what I'm comfortable with.

If they don't have a US warehouse, I won't buy from them.
If they have been in business for less than a year, I won't buy from them.
If tiktokkers regularly talk about them, I probably won't buy from them.
If they have ever talked shit to any customers in a public forum, I won't buy from them.
If they have had any scandals that did not result in them immediately making everyone whole, and there is anyone left who is known to me who says they were not made whole, I will never buy from them.
If they have had any major quality fuckups in the first year of business, I probably won't buy from them.
If they have any reputation for doing sketchy shit and claiming it's fine, I will never buy from them.
If they have any reputation for leaving reasonable uncertainty with their customers, I will never buy from them.
If they have had any recent group tests come back very different from their own COA's, I won't buy from them.

Mind you, that leaves like one chinese vendor, two group-buy-actually-a-vendor operations, and two domestic resellers that I AM willing to buy from, but that's ok; that's enough to cover everything I need or want for now.

It's worth noting that on more than one occasion, I have glanced at @BooneDonk 's doings and gone with whatever he was doing. Same with @Calm Logic , most of the mods here, @chmuse , and a lot of the frequent fliers. @Airborne Daddy has a higher risk tolerance than mine, so if he won't do something and I was considering it, I reconsider. @MsGizmo and @desinr-gal have usually thought through what they do ten times before they do it, so if one of them pipes up, I consider what they're saying. @keangkong will spend like an hour looking through articles to pull a chart, so if he posts it, it's probably true. You get to know people here, you get a sense of whose risk-tolerance is close to your own, and I tend to listen up when someone who I know to be more naturally cautious than me but fairly close makes a decision. That is ALSO not a recommendation, just something that I usually take into account.

Very detailed explanation. Thanks for that. I’m still new to most of this. I’ve purchased from a couple, but with all the SPONSORS on here now, I’m not sure who to trust. Thanks for your info…

You're not wrong―I've found that I too have viewed if "so-and-so" has liked a particular post/listing/vendor and based my opinion on their likes/comments. I thank you for validating that I'm in good company doing this trick. 😌

I am more risk taking than some as I will buy from small, unknown vendors. I've found some of my best vendors this way. I will start with the forums - here, meso, and Peppys. I look for positive and negative opinions and read them all. I will even check Reddit.

Then the discords/TG groups - first the neutral ones like the Euro chat, then the vendors themselves. I look in customer reviews. I do searches for shipping times, and let words like 'waiting' 'missing' etc. to see what it throws up.

If I think a vendor could be worth a shot, I place a very small order of 1 kit. The less I think I know about them, the less I spend. I don't tend to use any vendor with shipping that's more than $50.

I check the wallets and look for activity to see it looks normal. I always ask to send a small amount of crypto first and confirm it is the correct address.

I then look at the communication I receive throughout the process once the order is placed. I look at how they handle any issues.

If all goes well, I'll trust them with a slightly larger order next time, and bigger again the time after. I never ever go above $400 until I've run a few smaller purchases through them first and had success with each.
