I feel as if I am way too old to be learning about all of these new platforms and technologies. I remember a time before the internet existed.
I am here because I have struggled with my weight for a long time. A couple of years ago, I realized that I couldn’t play with my grandchildren without becoming short of breath. I don’t even know what weight I topped out at….i stopped weighing myself at 260 pounds. I decided something had to change.
I went to my doctor and asked to be started on Mounjaro. She had never heard of the med, but agreed to prescribe it. She said I had clearly researched it and she was trusting my nursing background. It was LIFE CHANGING for me. I was able to loose 85pounds over a year. When the $25 co pay card went away, I started picking up extra shifts to cover the $450/month cost I was paying for the med. Over time, my copay has steadily increased to the point I cannot afford to continue getting it through pharmacy. So…..here I am. I have already found a supplier, ordered and had my product third party tested. I am here to continue learning and growing. If at any point the price of the product becomes affordable through a pharmacy, I will gladly purchase it there. But in the meantime, I will be sourcing as I need to in order to stay healthy. My grandchildren deserve to have a Mamaw that can play with them and who will be around to spend time with them.
