I got myself into a stupid predicament! have a bunch of vials of mots-c 10 and NAD500 and they all have white caps, stupid me put them all next to each other (a long time ago becuase I just had a baby). Is there any way to tell the difference visually? I know the NAD has the burning and other symptoms with injection but besides poking and guessing, anyone have a creative solution to my stupid self created problem? I really regret not labeling stuff because I have melanotan and pt-141 also and don’t remember the mg in the vials ugh.

My NAD always has a little yellowish tint after mixing. Probably would not go on that alone and yours may differ.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Ultimately this is one of those situations where just accepting the financial loss and throwing everything in the garbage and starting over may be the best and safest option. Even testing would be pretty useless since you would almost have to have every single vial tested which would still mean no vials plus the extra expense of testing.

From a harm reduction standpoint I would definitely recommend against trying to sort things out by trial and error; things could turn out very badly.

If you bought them from the same vendor, I think you were ripped off. Anytime I have ordered NAD+ it had come in large vials. MOTS-C has always come in 3ml vials for me.

I would contact the vendor and ask if there is a way to tell which is which. check if all vials have the same volume of product. if 10 have 10% less and 10 have more, at least you can group them accordingly. but you will not know which is which. And if you have put them aside for a couple years my advice would be to throw them. Alternatively you can mix the powder with a face serum/ hyaluronic acid and apply to your face, at least it would not be a total waste. mots-c gets oxidated quite fast so it would be ineffective, nad has topical products so you might slightly benefit from it's effects.

I started using permanent marker on the vials as soon as they arrive, and I just write a quick description (TZ30, RT50 etc) directly on the glass. I was worried about this exact scenario. I agree might be best to just toss them.

I'm a lady of a certain age (75) with a memory like a colander 😅 A member advised me to buy a Niimbot printer. It is great and I label vials on arrival. I have no idea how to identify your peps. Sorry 😔

That is what I do print all my labels with my Niimbot printer and label one kit at the time, I would never mix all the vials.

Get a decent jeweler's scale and weigh them all. If you are lucky they used different makes of vials/crimps and there may be an obvious and consistent difference that you can use to divide them into 2 groups. They may use a different amount of filler, too.

If you have calipers, the diameter or height may have a consistent difference.

I'd also look at the vials under a blacklight. Maybe there is some difference in the caps or contents that would be revealed.

If one has burning and feel-able effects, and the concentration for both is the same but you do NOT which is which, then I THINK the logically-safe thing to do is use both (not at the same time) at whichever is the LOWER of the two doses. As in, if you take 20 units of one and 10 of the other (assuming the concentration), then you do 10 units at separate times. If one of them has burning, then you'll know when you feel the burning which one THAT is. And since you went with the LOWER of the two doses, you take away the risk of using too much of the one that has a stronger dose.

Do NOT do this without thinking it all the way through and seeing if I missed any logic, cause I may have, or there may be factors at work that make this a bad idea. In fact, don't do it at all. I was mostly interested in the riddle of it, but I think the real-world application of it is not actually a good idea.

Thank you for all the good ideas, I was thinking of just tossing them but it might be worth investigating the differences for scientific purposes at least if not for anything else!
