Did u put ur social sec nunber in it? I was trying to set it up following the step by step guide pinned in this forum and it said i had to enter my info and social was one of them and thats where i stopped

Depending on where you are buying your crypto, you will have to enter your personal info and verify who you are. It's federal law for exchanges operating in the US under the KYC laws. This includes the PayPal, venmo, and cahsapp as well.

Super easy way to get USDC ready to spend/pay with crypto:

Buy USDC on Robinhood
Deposit dollars, search USDC, buy it. They charge no fees, so $100 USD ≈ $100 USDC.

Buy a bit of ETH for gas fees
Buy ~$20–$30 ETH on Robinhood. This covers the small transaction costs when using USDC later.

Download Exodus wallet.
Create new wallet → back up your 12-word phrase safely (write it down, hide it, never share!).
Enable Ethereum + USDC in assets.

Get your Exodus address. In Exodus → pick ETH or USDC → hit Receive.
Copy the address (starts with 0x.... Very important you confirm that this address is on the Ethereum network). Address is the same for ETH and USDC on the Ethereum network.

Send from Robinhood. In Robinhood → go to USDC (or ETH first to test) → Send/Transfer.
Paste your Exodus address.
Double-check it's Ethereum network (Robinhood supports it for USDC/ETH—don't pick another network!).

Start small (like $10) to test.
Robinhood shows the network fee upfront—no extra Robinhood fee, just the Ethereum gas (paid in ETH or deducted from USDC).

Wait a bit
Takes 5–30 mins usually. Check Exodus—your USDC + ETH should show up.

Once all funds have settled in your Exodus wallet, go to USDC → Send.
Paste your vendor's wallet address.
Make sure you're paying USDC on the Ethereum network (check the network badge in Exodus—wrong network = funds lost!).
Have enough ETH left for the gas fee, enter amount, confirm.

YYou don't need that much eth. 5 dollars will last the average user quite a while.

Also of note, when you fund the rh account use a debit card. If you use the attached bank account, they will hold those funds 5 days.

Scratch. No idea how to purchase crypto or transfer it or whatever you do to make the magic happen.

I was literally just thinking this, I found a place I want to buy, and then saw crypto and gave up LOL

I know it’s a bit unnerving but I did enter my SSN and all is well lol. It’s really easy to use and I promise it’s safe

Alternately, do NOT use a debit card. Use the attached bank account. Only move 100 dollars at a time. Wait for the funds to clear before doing another 100. Sometimes it takes a week and a half when you forget to look for a few days to see if it's cleared. Then you slow yourself way down and throttle your ability to spend too much of your disposable income hoarding peptides.

This is the method I use to cap my purchasing at $300 a month.
