So, it’s been my third shot from the vial I last reconstituted. Guess what? I just realized I labeled it wrong. The mg/mL is correct, but I messed up the mg/IU calculation.
I know mg/IU isn’t a standard unit, it’s just something I use to quickly figure out how many IU I need to pull.
Turns out, I’ve been injecting 8mg of Sema per week instead of 4mg, alongside 12mg of Reta (luckily, that label was correct 😁). I knew something felt different, the appetite suppression was way stronger than before, but since I had no side effects, I didn’t think much of it. Then, just now, I looked at the label… and something clicked: Wait, that’s not right. I recalculated, and yep, I’ve been doubling my dose for weeks 😅
Honestly? I’m kinda calling it a happy accident. Some of you know I’ve been struggling with alcohol again — I’ve been tapering off, and I haven’t had a single drink in a week, so yep... it clearly helps with addiction. I think I’ll stick with 8mg going forward… though I’m a little worried my receptor sensitivity might take a hit. Oh well, we’ll see.
