I was keeping an eye on it. I guess it has escalated to a point where it ought to just be locked, which we all knew it would as soon as that first hasty generalization about a nation of over a billion people got thrown out. Will go ahead and do so — everyone gets thread banned!

If you were engaged in productive discussion about non-China sources then by all means start a more focused thread to pick up where you left off. If you want to continue engaging in disagreements about how to characterize wide swaths of humanity, maybe do that at the local pub instead of here.
