Increased Anxiety

I started Reta on June 16th at 2mg and have been dosing it regularly at that amount every 7 days.

Has anyone experienced any increased anxiety or mental issues while taking Reta? I seem to be experiencing it quite a bit although I'm not 100% sure if Reta is responsible.

This is not an unusual symptom. For some, it is so bad they end up quitting. I believe, it can partially be attributed to the increased heart rate (though, not fully). It can cause the flight or fight response.

Common side effect. If you are a prone to anxiety person, tirz is probably the better option

Most early symptoms like this go away after a month or so and you reach therapeutic serum levels,at least for most people. There is always an adjustment period where you are getting used to any GLP.

I am sure there are lots of different things people take but if you have money and want to try new supplements

I just got into glycine and NAC, separately but they are sometimes sold together, and I have had an amazing mood boost.

On Reta, never had anxiety that I thought needed treated but I’m just generally happier and less foggy right now. Early days and I find a return to baseline for some supplements but so far so amazing

It should get better. Just give it a few weeks. My wife had anxiety issues when she first started that went away after a few weeks.

I was like that the first few months but the anxiety isn't as bad now. Even the anhedonia has eased up a bit. I never did get increased hr and I'm up to 6mg a week now.

As mentioned, all this goes away. I literally have nothing anymore, and just poked myself this morning.
