Hello, I just recently joined this forum in pursuit of learning more about Reta. I’ve been on name brand Tirz for over a year now and have hit max dose and currently am in a stall. I plan on introducing Reta (stacking) to my routine to hopefully lose the last bit of weight and get into maintenance.

So far I have a short list of vendors and have joined (1) Telegram group searching for reputable sources lol . I appreciate spaces like this existing for people that need help reaching their goals. Thanks!

I've also started researching on reta compared to tirz. I'm wondering if there is any benefit in skipping tirz and doing reta instead.

Hi and welcome! Glad you found your way to the world of peptides.

As someone who has lost 113 lbs on Reta I would definitely recommend it. It is definitely the best GLP1 peptide available due to its ability to burn fat through its glucagon receptor agonism. If you're new you might not know what it means, but just do the research and you will see the huge advantage reta holds over sema and tirz.

I would advise not stacking GLP1s. It is not necessary. Just choose which one to try and give it your best. For Quennvrcry I would definitely recommend discontinuing Tirz in favor of Reta. If you need a quick start or just want to enhance your weight loss why not add tesamorelin or ipamorelin? I started Tesa in early May and have lost 23 lbs in 2 months on Reta/Tesa. I added Ipamorelin a few weeks ago to further enhance the burn and it has. Just a suggestion you might want to consider. Good luck to you both!

I know some people are against stacking but Tirz is covered through my insurance and I desperately need the appetite suppression it gives. I don’t want to quit Tirz to have to start all over from the bottom doses :/.
I’ve also never heard of the other peptides you mentioned. I chose Reta because of so many other people already using it. I have a good 20 pounds left to lose and figured it wouldn’t hurt to add.

I’ve seen a handful of people saying to start Reta instead of Tirz. It is supposed to be a GLP-3 so it’s supposed to do a bit more than Tirz at the moment.

GLP3 is a nonsense influencer marketing term. Please look up what GLP1 means and then you'll understand why glp3 is a dumb word.

GLP3 is just a designation that some of the vendors have resorted to using in order to appear like they are actually more research than consumer oriented.

Retatrutide is a triple agonist (that's what the 3 means). It is a GLP1, GIP and GCGR agonist. Each has its own action. The GCGR (Glucagon Receptor agonism) is the one which neither Sema or Tirz possess. It is the reason why people lose more weight than on those two - it acts on your body to actually start the fat burning process. Tested and proved through measuring ketones. Feel free to read about my Reta journey in the post in my signature.

Stacking GLP1s comes with risks that people aren't actively discussing. They use the same receptors, so the chances of developing receptor desensitization and antibodies increases, which reduces the effectiveness of both.

If Tirz is not working to lose your last 20 there is no use taking it other than for appetite suppression. You most likely have resistant visceral fat that neither Tirz or Reta address (not sure about sema, haven't heard or read one way or another). As I've already explained in several posts, liraglutide does address visceral fat. Tesamorelin addresses visceral fat. Do some research on those two and consider adding one or the other. Tesa is much easier (and cheaper) to get so I would suggest trying it.

Use it with tirz if you want, but if it's visceral all it's doing is appetite suppression, which may be worth it to you. Reta doesn't work on visceral either, but it enhances the fat burning I'm getting from tesamorelin, so I'll be using it until this visceral is finally gone.
