Is a pen worth it or am I thinking about this too much?

Be aware the pens your mom are getting are a different breed than the refillable cartridge pens (assuming Mounjaro/Zepbound). Many diehard reusable pen fans will tell you they only make sense for multiple daily/weekly injections.
Ya I only like using the pens for my ghk-cu daily injections

Update on my pen situation:

I bought two pens since I started to stack AOD and Serm. I am using Tirz with syringe only and I find that the pens are nice, fast, and easy to use with less pain than the syringe. The only negative is filling the cartridge and eliminating the air. I seem to lose probably a good 5-8 units trying to get the most stubborn air bubbles out. Its a 50% success rate when I lose less than 5 units (estimations, of course)

I agree that only with a daily dosing is a pen helpful, otherwise there isn't much of a benefit unless you are squeamish about needles.

I researched and bought four V2s because of this thread. I started with one, using it for my Reta, and bought three more this week for some other peps I have coming in.

While using syringes for once per week injections is totally okay and makes sense, I am EXTREMELY lazy when it comes to remedial tasks. So using a pen once a week and simply swapping on a new needle after pinning is so much easier for my dumb brain to accept. I'll probably never use the syringes for pinning moving forward.

You should be storing the pen without any needle attached. So after pinning you remove the needle and don't put another one on until you're ready to use it again.
I've seen conflicting points on this, I've seen to install a new needle and leave the cap on after pinning, to keep the end of the cartridge covered/sealed. And I've seen leaving the cartridge open with no needle to avoid leaks or air intrusion. Is the consensus to store without a needle?
