HK is fairly new name. A friend asked me to check them out last week. The site is suspicious. One rep wouldn't budge on price (the one posting on this forum). Another gave me a $100+ discount off the batt. I confirmed they are both from the same company. Placed a order 3 days ago for R15 and SS-31 shipped through DHL. Expected to arrive Tuesday.
Even if the package arrives, they are what they are, in the weight and quality described, still isn't enough to vet the company. It's common for a company to pop up, sell high quality products 6 months to a year for little to no profit, then start making their profits later by selling junk, calling them mistakes, for as long as they can until people stop buying. Then pop back up as a new company again. The safest bet is to stick with companies that have been around well over a year and has been consistent with quality. The biggest problem is that most of those vetted companies don't promote themselves on sites like these. When they do, they're often turned away for not acting like many of these new vendors or adapting to the new norms. And they really don't care. I don't freely give out these companies because their products are often used for these schemes or western vendors use them to upcharge people X10+. Both of which I'm against and not willing to directly/indirectly add to the problem. I've made that mistake in the past. But the good companies aren't really hard to find. It just takes some time and a little effort. These other companies can be ok for a bit too. Just need to watch for the bad reports. There is a common phrase in mainland most live by "If they're dumb enough to fool, fool them"
I'll post pictures when this thing comes in. Then send it off to a local friend to test it at his facility.
