Is it just me, or does Amazon periodically strip all pep supplies (BAC Water, syringes, etc) from their site?

Noticed it previously when I went back to reorder insulin syringes and there were none to be had.

Just looked a few minutes ago and all the reconstitution solution/bac water was gone this time.

Any ideas as to why these items come and go?

They're doing it to drive you nuts. 🤣 Honestly never heard or seen this.

I just ordered a couple boxes of syringes from Amazon and didn’t have any issues. I don’t order my BAC from them so can’t speak to that.

I've had this happen if I word my search differently.... When it does I just go to the tab that says previously ordered or reorder , and it shows right up, usually.

Except I saved for later a couple and they went poof as well. I just searched the following "reconstitution solution bacteriostatic water" and where I would get 30 hits before, now it yields sterile water and cases.

Yes! I previously got my recon needles and syringes from Amazon and suddenly they were gone and I couldn’t find any decent ones at all like 3 weeks ago when I needed to restock. Had to go with a vet medical supply website 😒

Amazon BAC was all sus anyway. See this analysis and the pH, BA concentration, and sterility numbers were all over the place. In other tests, the ones that passed below failed Endo testing. Good for you if you used it and everything was great. This was taken from Derek's suspicious-link-removed.

Edit: BAC COAs:

I’ve used Lambda and Lab1 Research H2O (neither of which is currently offered now). I have Hospira now (from Injection Shop), but nice having options in case things change, which seems like the rule rather than the exception around here.

The only two that passed aren't even on Amazon now.
I've never seen that brand before. Aqua Science with Vanguard lab report.

Yeah me neither. I googled “reconstruction solution“ and that was one of the broken Amazon links amongst others. Maybe they come back, like the syringes did, maybe not. No idea what prompts Amazon to do this.

Interesting, I checked my order on Amazon from 3 weeks ago and I can see the syringes I purchased but the BAC water is unavailable. Even on my order invoice, the brand name is missing and just says BAC water 30ml 2 pack.

Maybe location gets blocked when it can't be shipped to you?

I'm thinking several site do this since I can't find certain pens on Ali

This data came from one of the "chicken embryo" sites that I can't post:

Several brands; Research H₂O, Quality Research, and Peptide Crafters met USP expectations for chemical parameters only (%BA and pH) but were not tested for sterility or endotoxins in the PTDS dataset. While their preservative strength and pH were compliant, their microbiological and pyrogen safety cannot be determined from available data.

Lambda Water passed %BA, pH, and sterility, but failed endotoxin testing (0.765 EU/mL, > USP ≤0.25 EU/mL)** This shows that even chemically acceptable formulations can still pose pyrogen risk.

In contrast, several brands showed critical failures:

Harmonify and Aqua Science (same manufacturer) had severely under-strength BA (0.087–0.23%), failed sterility, and had very high endotoxin levels (>5 EU/mL).
DNA Labs and Clear Choice showed unacceptable BA concentrations (too low or excessive).

Generic BAC0129 had near-spec BA (0.86%) but extremely alkaline pH (8.84) outside USP limits.

Pure Labs contained 0.00% benzyl alcohol, meaning the product was chemically equivalent to sterile water for injection (SWFI) despite being sold as BAC water, indicating **mislabeling or formulation failure

Bottom line: go with Hospira

No I haven't noticed. I went to costco to see if they carried any thicker gage syringes for using IM They told me those syringes I would need a prescription for but I didn't for the insulin syringes. I never heard of this. I ended up buying them on Amazon.

Yep just checked. Even my last 2 bac purchases dont even show up.... i should demand the money back. I understand not showing on "buy again" if out of stock...but not even showing on previous orders is b.s.
I had a subscription for 4 -31ml that was due to deliver Apr 13th that vanished. I guess my $14 will have to be spent elsewhere.

State Pharmacy Laws differ.
Buying sterile, individually packed needles has worked for me on Amazon. Also using TB 1mL syringes from Amazon.

IMHO any bac stat water for injection should be USP

Check out USP dot org or USP on the big W site

Professional bias.

So by that rationale, you're not buying Grey Market Peptides?
No, just doing what I can to use clean technique

I also send one vial of each batch out for quality testing, and wait for the results before using.

Doing what I can with what I have available..

And AFAIK , Hospira/Pfizer (bact stat water USP) brand is the only one used/available in hospitals in the US… there were more in the long past, haven’t seen them for a long time.

Many hospitals don’t stock any bacstat water as it is v bad if given to neonates.

Be safe…

In Canada, everything is still available! Maybe you can change the country of shipping? I don't know if it works!

Wow, I had to look this up because I used to give my dog insulin about a decade ago when they had big push to make insulin cheaper and available to anyone that needed it. While looking up the legality of syringes in each state it turns out my state passed a law to make insulin Rx only in 2023, but syringes are still legal OTC. This makes me angry, what happens if someone broke their last vial of insulin and needed one on a Friday night but they were out of refills? Their doctors office would be closed until Monday. Guess it's a way for the ER to make more money.

Back on subject, I was about to buy Lamda BAC on Amazon when it disappeared. Good thing because it made be buy Hospira from someone approved here. Turns out this was good for the approved here.
