My wife is over 50. Are there any peptides that are known to improve libido in older women?

People will tell you PT-141 or one of the melanotans, but she’ll probably hate the sides and they have varying degrees of positive impact (if any) for a lot of women.

Not a peptide, but the absolutely best for increasing libido is TRT and she’s probably at the age where she needs some. Bloodwork will prove this and help her drive decisions about supplementing with exogenous TRT.

+1 on the blood test. If you're asking here, the answer starts with getting blood test, most likely a privately paid for one, which would be a hormone panel. If you want to be spoon fed, google "personalabs" and get ready to pay 100 or 200 for a full hormone workup depending on your curiosity.

Once you have results, you could put them into AI for feedback, post them here, or take the nuclear option and consult your physician.

Bro science says to just check testosterone and estrogen, and then do steroids and PT-141.

Definitely get hormones checked. You would be better off joining a FB group on BHRT and searching thru the posts for doctors in your area that actually know something about treating low hormones. If you get lucky you may find someone that takes insurance. Otherwise there are telehealth companies like Defy and Midi and many others that can help but are more expensive or seeing a functional doctor.

My wife had a lot of issues after our daughter was born. After checking everyting and trying a couple other things, her doctor recommneded Vyleesi (which is PT-141). It worked well, like really well, but the sides were awful. The dose is 2.5mg and you can't go lower. We got some PT-141. Started at .5mg. Didn't do anything but minimal sides. Then we went up to 1.25mg. That worked well, maybe not quite as atrong as the 2.5mg, but still really good and sides were light. Sides are supposed to improve after you use it a couple times. So I would recommend starting low just for exposure if nothing else and working up over a couple weeks.

Yes, it's called HRT. And it's not a peptide. But I don't think any peptide is going to do much. She should get a full hormone panel and see where her levels are and consider HRT. It's good for a lot besides libido as well, like bone density and overall mood, body comp. My wife does the pellets. I'm much happier when she's on it, lol.

This. It’s so odd that every dude I know now is on TRT and yet it isn’t very well known that many females can do the equivalent. I feel many doctors are so behind the curve on this for females. My observations as a husband anyway. And the bone density issue is real. My mom is 2 inches shorter now and really struggling with those issues that likely could have better been dealt with decades ago.
