This is 24 hours after the first injection’s report:

I injected myself with a 2.5mg mounjaro in the belly. After three hours I lost my appetite but I felt something else much important, I usually get heart palpitations once or twice daily, it’s gone, I usually get gout attacks and I expected one today but up to know nothing! I am feel energized and my mood is super calm, I feel less stressed and less inflamed, this is huge for me.

I had two meals since yesterday with total amount of less than half a meal!
This is strange to me, I feel I need more food but I am not hungry enough to imagine myself eating!

My doctor is literally not doing anything, he is like a vending machine for prescriptions and I don’t know what to check for during taking mounjaro so any blood work suggestions are welcomed.

WELCOME TO THE FOLD !!!!

you took the red pill and are in for one hell of a ride
but be careful respect the compound 😎

Barring any known medical conditions, you don't really need to do blood work for tirzepatide. But when it's time for your annual physical exam, your labs and vitals might show happy improvements vs previous ones.

Be sure to drink a really lot of extra water and eat water-containing vegetables, minimize carbs, and eat extra protein and fiber. More so if constipation sets in, in which case daily walking is also extra-important.

Within the first week, lower back pain I'd had for a decade, fat and thin, from jumping on and off baby horses was gone, as well as my near chronic foot pain, fat or thin, from walking 8-10 miles a day. 5 months in this week and it has not returned. Even without the now 48lbs lost, I would take this forever for the inflammation and accompanying pain reduction

8-10 walking miles a day? I’m guessing GLPs aren’t the only thing you’re taking. 5 miles a day takes a village for me.

The other day I was listening to a podcast in which they mentioned TSH testing, I wonder if I need to do this one since I’ve never tested my TSH before.
But again as you mentioned it seems like I am heading to the right direction the only thing is eat well and wait for Tirzepetide to take effect

I'm a horse person and I smoked for decades, I'm a big walker and a big pacer 😂 I lived in texas with a cutting horse trainer and I would walk a mile and back every morning to get a coffee from the gas station, because why not? And the guy was like this is texas, stop walking, people will think you're homeless 😂😂😂

Mounjaro has had a lot of benefits for my health besides appetite suppression.

Eat clean, drink plenty and move whenever you can.

Welcome on the road to a healthier life 👍

Good luck on your Tirz journey. I'll second the recommendation to drink water, eat protein, and getting your fiber... berries and nuts are good too! One thing I found when I started losing was that I needed to have a goto meal that I could always eat. That ended up being a blended meal replacement shake (Kachava) with a hand full of berries and 30g extra protein powder + 20g of benefiber. You don't want your stomach stopping even though the "food noise" has finally disappeared.

Getting your thyroid stimulating hormone - TSH tested might give you a reason why you aren't feeling as peppy and active, but calorie deficit will do that too! Hopefully, you don't start losing hair like I did. It stopped, but it was unnerving. If you do test TSH, get the whole set done (PTFQI, TSH, SPINA-GT, FT4) so you can get an idea of whether it's just a fluctuation and what part of the system might be causing it. If you do get tested, use something like Goodlabs.com so you don't overpay!

Stay on here, search for any questions you have, and ask if there's something that doesn't make sense. Lots of people have had lots of different experiences.

You’re totally right 👍 I feel different already
My wife just received a fast food delivery and I already left the room in disgust and disbelief!
Me running away from fast food! That’s impossible
