I only could make it to 4mg/week of Reta before the Allodynia and Anhedonia rocked my ass. Glucagon agonism never agreed with me either at least this is my primary thesis - resting heart rate shot up 14 bpm and I just felt .. off. Yes, lost good weight but it was due to the sense that food was just kind of 'gross'. Yuck, the thought of food just turns me off. Lots of nausea.

Tirz, now tirz is my beauty. What an ass kicker. Just crushes appetite. Like I've had gastric bypass x10. So stuffed. Kinda want to eat but just stuffed. So stuffed. Still kind of like food but by holy jesus I'm stuffed and can't imagine eating. No allodynia (3.5mg/week). Some anhedonia but better. BPM down as well. It just feels cleaner to me.

I currently use both, reta Saturday tirz Wednesday. I get alot of the same results as you. I also use HGH and when on Tirz, it just feels like more synergy. When running only one of them, I tend to stall more, so I just alternate them.

Im sick even to think about food as well let alone getting it near my mouth and chewing, so I took that as a sign, to not titrate up anymore, becus I couldn't eat my body thought it was starving so that would explain the lack of weight loss, I know this is week 7 not moving up and I feel better, I can actually eat some protein, am drinking more water, and I am going to do another week or two staying at 10 mg and see how I am,
yes appetite control works, but I'm not losing so much as I did when i first started with Sema, I ordered Reta and I might wait with Reta until I finish this Tir round break and do a course of Reta and see where am at, I don't know if tir has been all that great until I start something new. Or wait it out, you're not alone.

Try adding some Survo (ghettoReta), if you want to add a bit of glucagon agonist to the mix. I was able to go down from 7mg weekly to 5mg weekly of Tirz, while adding 1mg of Survo with all the benefits and few if any sides.
YMMV!
I've been wanting to snag some surveys to try this myself. Have heard very good things
Edit: Survo lol

Well i do like to use use one on one off rotation.... wife just like reta as she reports no food noise as i still get noise on just reta 🤔

That's for the post I was thinking of adding tirz with my next order.

What dosage are you using? I’m currently on 5 mg Reta and 5 mg Tirz, but I’m not seeing much effect from Tirz so far.

5mg Tirz, 4mg Reta. Reta barely suppresses but if I raise the dose, the skin sensitivity is overbearing. Tirz kills food cravings for me, I stayed at 2.5mg Tirz alone for 3 months.

From a cost perspective, it is insane to do ghetto reta (with survo or maz) if you are fine with tirz + reta. But I like variety for shits and giggles.
Agreed,
Which is why I have kits of Tirz and Reta, and not Survo. Part of me just has to try it with Survo though so I'll probably end up buying a single of it to try lol.

Are you me? Because this is exactly what my sitch is. I was only using tirz but decided to add reta to help get through a plateau. Made it to 4mg of reta before I pulled the plug for precisely what you said, felt meh, RHR was up, sleep was shit, was colder than before, and food was a struggle. Just not worth it (I think I lost 3 pounds over 7 weeks, so no major wins). I'm back to just tirz and feel totally fine - and in control - again. I guess the dual agonist just meets my body where it's at and does its thing. I'm going to just titrate up a bit more on the tirz to see if that shakes the stall, before I even consider any other peps like sema or cagri.

Reta is my muse. Skin sensitivity for a month, got stopped up for a while, but no other sides. Been on 10 mg for the last two months and down 70 lbs this morning. It's like it was made for me.
Glad it's working so well for you! That's one thing that's good about doing these things on our own. We can move on if something isn't working without asking "permission" lol.

A semi-ghetto reta (by including real reta):

My Copy and paste from another thread.

Watching Reta's evolution over the last year has been both enjoyable, humorous, and tempting as a Tirz-only user. From TikTok to YouTube Gym Bro's. The nature of sourcing further fueled the mysticism. Gym Bro's excel at sourcing. The perfect synergy. Not sure I will ever try.
My journey with Tirz has exceeded all expectations, both clinically and personally, with minimal side effects. It has matched or exceeded Reta clinical results at every turn. Never had allodynia, but it seems to be the most common side effect from Reta. This is possibly the reason for the double the dropout rate in trials. Not sure they have a true handle on the Glucagon/GIP ratio. It will be interesting to see it reach the masses later this year and next.
Jumping from Tirz to Reta for me would be like leaving my beautiful wife for a Hot IG model only to discover she has Herpes.

I wish the dose plotters had the ability to overlay multiple tides. The couple that I’ve looked at did not have any option to do so.

I use Smart Peptide Tracker. It's on Android and iOS. It can track multiple peps at once.

It also can keep track of inventory

8mg of Reta and 1mg of Cagri is my sweet protocol. 12mg of Reta was too hard on my sleep and at 8mg of Reta I plateaued for about 3 months. So, I started Cagri a month or so ago and have titrated up to where I am comfortable with the appetite control not being so much that I am fasting and can still be hungry enough to get my daily protein in, and have enough gas to workout.

I just tried this. I did not see any half-life curve plotting at all. Do I need the pro version for plotting?

I have the pro version so maybe, but I think I could see it before I upgraded.

It's under the section "My Stack", then scroll down a little bit.

Reta is the big winner for me. Lost my final 10 lbs n reta. The gip and glucagon agonist just shreds fat and sugar. I was able to eat. You don't need to feel starved to know it's working. Let your scale and body fat be you guide.

Stacking tirzapatide means less glucagon.
This message has been sponsored by glucagon, the hormone that never sleeps.

skin sensitivity response I had this as well when I tried to scale up at first. It took about 2 weeks but went away. That was when I went from 2mg/week to 4mg and double dipped in the same week. Admittedly, I was not nearly as attentive at tracking as I am now so I paid for my inattentiveness. I got over it, and now that I've titrated up to 10mg/week over the last 6 months, it hasn't come back.

I can not deal with the blahs I’m getting from 1mg of Reta twice a week. I kinda like the “food is gross” thing, but the Reta destroys my motivation at 1mg twice a week. I’ll be trying Tirz next.

Whilst Reta sounds good, my experience with Tirz so far (8 weeks) means I don't see the need to use anything else right now. Appetite suppression from the start has been awesome, getting halfway through a meal and stopping as I'm stuffed is quite the new sensation for me!

I'm sure over time the effects will wear off, I'm moving up a dose soon as I can notice slight decline in suppression but I'm still on 2.5mg so that was always expected.

Good luck on your journey!

You'd be surprised. Everyone is different. I've been on the same 5mg dose for months and the effects are just the same as when I first dosed.
Now my sister had to bump up to 7.5 after 2 months and has been hanging out there successfully.

This part just isn't true though.

I get the jist of the post, but really don't think it needs to be quite so tribal (appreciate it was copied from elsewhere and you were just sharing). It doesn't need to be a big "Team Tirz vs Team Reta" conflict. Everyone reacts differently, and has their own goals and therefore what works for some won't work so well for others. We're all on the same journey so no need for the original author to be condescending.
